  • I have been wanting to get back to these trails ever since I bought the outlander. I finally had the opportunity. This is just a solo ride as they do not allow passengers on quads that are not made for it. With all the climbs and descents, I can understand why. This is a long one, but stay tuned for part 2, I almost lost my atv climbing a hill.

    Your audio is great. Picture quality is good. I like that you talk about what you are doing as you go. Your creek videos are my favorite, but this is good too.

    Is this in Tennessee? I’ve been there and never been on these trails. Where do you access these trails?

    the squaking is probably just the bushing in the steering colom

    • @chasintrail
      @chasintrail  2 года назад

      Yeah it is. Can-am uses cheap bushings. I have to grease all bushings and spray silicone lube down the column every couple rides.

      @@kellyhicks2537 I don't think they have grease zerks, but if not you can always remove the bushings and grease or replace them. Depending on age, I would replace them but yeah, silicone lubricant can't hurt it, spray anywhere you like.

    My steering makes that noise too so annoying. It will get so stiff you can bearly turn it.

      I've managed to keep the squeak at bay lately with silicone lubricant down the steering column and around the Pittman arm below the power steering unit. It has to be done every few rides though it seems.

      You know, I am likely just overly critical. I truly love this machine, it's just the little things that irk me. I drove a CFmoto this weekend and I see my machine in a different light now. Though I would like to test drive a Yamaha, I am just hard to satisfy I guess. Don't let my OCD detour you, it is a great, powerful machine.
