  • Hi all!
I’m sorry for how long it’s been since I’ve j last uploaded - it’s been a really busy winter at work and with other life circumstances. However I hope to now finally get back to uploading as regularly as possible, and I thank you all kindly for your patience and understanding.
    Flight Review:
    Glasgow Airport:
Because I don’t live near to GLA and my flight was scheduled for an 08:55 departure, I decided to stay the night before at the very reasonably priced Premier Inn at Glasgow Airport, which was only a short walk from the terminal building. I went over a few hours before as I wanted to have a good look round because I had in-fact not flown through GLA in almost 9 years! Being used to the crowded and disgusting mess that is EDI, I was pleasantly surprised to see that GLA appears to be a very clean and somewhat well maintained airport when it comes to a comparison with EDI, it also helps that GLA is huge with many areas to sit and some great views of the apron. After a few hours of spotting and relaxing, the gate was called, 07B, and our aircraft touched down from Bristol early. The last time I flew through GLA, I was on the Virgin 747 to MCO, sadly not able to fly that bird this time, though my aircraft was still special for me, being my first time on an A321NEO. Ironically during the boarding process, almost every passenger was in the Speedy Boarding queue, which meant that for myself and a couple of others, we didn’t have to wait in a long line!
    EZY202:
Once onboard in seat 22A, the aircraft filled up quickly, and from what I could see, I frustratingly had the only row onboard which was full, though it was a busy flight nonetheless. We pushed back promptly and taxied to Runway 23 where we departed ontime and headed south. The flight itself was pretty uneventful, with the crew promptly commencing the inflight service, of which I chose not to partake given the short flight time - I can’t down a burning hot DIY cup of tea! Whilst there was a nice variety of items on the Buy-onboard menu, it is rather limited when compared with others such as Ryanair. I read a book and soon we were descending into BRS for an on time arrival. It was a quick taxi to the gate and given that I had no bags, I was landside within 2
Minutes, though I had to wait in a long queue for the bus into the city. Overall another very nice EasyJet experience- the usual fanfare a friendly and comfortable ride relatively uneventful which I suppose is exactly what the type of experience EasyJet implies you’ll get.
