I am a life long Lion fan but since like week 4-5 all the bandwagon lions fans been talking about”Super Bowl” and got cocky like we were unbeatable and were acting like getting to the SB was guaranteed and going to be a cake walk. We just need to take it week by week and stay humble. Us life long fans know things rarely go our way and even when it does everything is stacked against us. We also never mention the word SUPERBOWL until we actually get there. Some of our fans need to humble up. One week at a time Go Lions
@reggieisdabest25 he's not a normal 38 year old he's still pretty good for his age and considering all the lions can do is poach practice squad players if the dolphins do release him it's not like he'd be coming in on a multiple year deal he'd come in for whatever is left of the season and the d-line needs whatever help it can get
Calais Campbell had a really good game against the Rams a few weeks ago. It seemed like he was everywhere and played a critical role in shutting the ram offense down
Let be real, Campbell can play still 😂 I bet he makes an more impact then any DT lions have right now No disrespect to Alim McNeil nor Reader Campbell is a problem
Maybe this is part of the narrative for him to be a Detroit Lion. I watched that Monday night game with him and his team against Stafford. His best game of the year thus far.
In my opinion, Calais Campell's nickname should be "The Land before time, the prequel." This works because he is older than Bruce Irvin, the original land before time.
Players with less than four accrued NFL seasons are subject to waivers. Those with MORE than four accrued seasons are considered vested veterans. They are released, listed officially as having had their contracts terminated, and can sign with any team immediately.
@ here it is In the NFL, "cut" is a general term for removing a player from a team's roster, while "waived" specifically refers to a player with less than four accrued seasons in the league, meaning other teams have the opportunity to claim them on the waiver wire before they become a free agent; a player with four or more seasons is considered a "vested veteran" and is "released" when cut, allowing them to sign with any team immediately without going through waivers.

waiver order . lions second to last i believe in waiver order. the reason for waivers (or at least part) is to prevent teams from getting around the trade deadline.
Before the season started Lions made the decision to keep James Houston and ultimately released Matthieu Betts from the Canadian Football League. Could we use Betts now or are there better options? Thanks, enjoy the channel!
As you said we need bodies. This would be a brad holmes move to get a guy like that off of waivers instead of paying full price in free agency. Theres literally nobody left at this point. @@LionsFanSyndicate some sort of contact buyout or something that allows him to skip waivers and guarantees the rest of his salary 🤷🏼♂️ it completely defeats the purpose of letting him go to a contender if anybody can pick him up so, there's gotta be a way around that. They wouldn’t be waiving him. That would completely defeat the point of letting him go so he can join a contender. They would just release him straight up. Obviously, anyone you can get
There is no point of bringing him in unless he can play and fits with our team. I’m sure Holmes will do his due diligence and bring in the best

A 38 year old is not what this team needs. It'll hurt the lions more than help.
