    I am a life long Lion fan but since like week 4-5 all the bandwagon lions fans been talking about”Super Bowl” and got cocky like we were unbeatable and were acting like getting to the SB was guaranteed and going to be a cake walk. We just need to take it week by week and stay humble. Us life long fans know things rarely go our way and even when it does everything is stacked against us. We also never mention the word SUPERBOWL until we actually get there. Some of our fans need to humble up. One week at a time Go Lions

      @reggieisdabest25 he's not a normal 38 year old he's still pretty good for his age and considering all the lions can do is poach practice squad players if the dolphins do release him it's not like he'd be coming in on a multiple year deal he'd come in for whatever is left of the season and the d-line needs whatever help it can get

    Players with less than four accrued NFL seasons are subject to waivers. Those with MORE than four accrued seasons are considered vested veterans. They are released, listed officially as having had their contracts terminated, and can sign with any team immediately.

      @ here it is In the NFL, "cut" is a general term for removing a player from a team's roster, while "waived" specifically refers to a player with less than four accrued seasons in the league, meaning other teams have the opportunity to claim them on the waiver wire before they become a free agent; a player with four or more seasons is considered a "vested veteran" and is "released" when cut, allowing them to sign with any team immediately without going through waivers.

    No, a player can not decline a team if on the waiver wire.
    Waiver wire process
    Players with fewer than four accrued seasons in the NFL are subject to waivers. If a player is cut, they go through the waiver wire, where teams take turns to claim them. The team that claims a player must have an open spot on their 53-man roster.

      @miketackett2092 10 дней назад

      @LionsFanSyndicate According to Pro football network, writter Alex Kennedy, the waiver wire starts after the trade deadline. If a team releases a player before the trade deadline, the player would be considered a free agent.

      @@LionsFanSyndicate some sort of contact buyout or something that allows him to skip waivers and guarantees the rest of his salary 🤷🏼‍♂️ it completely defeats the purpose of letting him go to a contender if anybody can pick him up so, there's gotta be a way around that. Or maybe it's just as simple as Campbell can tell teams that he doesn't want to play for not to pick him up because he just won't play.

    • @paulmayer8654
      @paulmayer8654 10 дней назад +1

      They wouldn’t be waiving him. That would completely defeat the point of letting him go so he can join a contender. They would just release him straight up. The only reason teams waive players instead of releasing them is that they get a chance for another team to pick up that player’s contract. If they don’t care about that (for whatever reason) then they just release him, and he’s a FA.

  • @zonabot6029
    @zonabot6029 10 дней назад
