Christopher Guest is in "The Hospital". The doctor gets so disgusted simply because he won't give up truly caring about healing, and the fears loosing his last virtue, compassion. Also, I believe the hospital represents New York City, and how living there can eat away at one's peace of mind, and their humanity
Thanks for the podcast. ❤❤❤ late to the party, but in the QT vein of imagining the Diana character being angelic, it struck me that she visually stands out in a crowd, not like an angelic glow, but rather a nice lighting/wardrobe selection. Thanks again for the podcast and the series.

I was reminded of Altman too, but it's way crazier.
