Take that is fine when it is a 1v1 game because it's zero sum so you don't feel like you're being ganged up on. Interesting idea that going to buy new cards is when you are most at risk, though I suspect that it is a necessity to do so. My kids are only 6,4,2 and I suspect that while they would hate me playing pests on them they would be delighted to play pests in my lawn :D

That’s the way our games went! Lots of player interaction once the pests come into play.
