I’m in Florida. I ride my “recreational vehicle “ to work every day. We have been a 1 car family for almost 30 years.

I’m an active investor and didn’t even know LVWR was on the stock market before this video. I put in an order for a $7.50 cash secured put. Nov 17 I might own 100 shares. My dealer in Sarasota, Fl says they will have a DelMar to see this month. Keep up the videos. I’ll be watching for Preston’s update on his DelMar.👍🏻👍🏻

Livewire needs a new marketing team.

    • @freedomiseverything
      @freedomiseverything  Год назад +1

It's more serious than that. LiveWire is operating under a bad mission statement:
"To be the most desirable electric motorcycle brand in the world, leading the electrification of the sport."
How can the marketing team do a proper job when its top executives are miscommunicating the companies purpose?
Can you imagine Telsa having a mission statement like that? I can't.
      Tesla's mission statement is:
"To accelerate the advent of sustainable transport by bringing mass market electric cars to market as soon as possible."
I agree that the marketing department at LiveWire is doing a bad job. However, I believe top management is responsible for sending the marketing department in the wrong direction. How about a mission statement like:
"Journey to a safe and sustainable place."
LiveWire needs to target young people. The recent mid-term election has demonstrated again that young people 18-29 are extremely progressive. Give them something that resonates with their beliefs...

“People will work hard for money, but they’ll work like hell for a cause”.
      - Elon Musk
LiveWire should be cause, not a company. “Accelerate the journey to a safe and sustainable place.”

Zero rider here. I'd pick a Harley any day over a Zero again. And in the ICE world Harley would have been the last brand Id ever consider.

@@freedomiseverything I bought my FX because it was cheap. It's rides great and I love the simplicity. But it's a bit unreliable and the repairs are expensive and take forever. I never liked gasoline Harleys but the livewire is an amazing piece of technology.

If I'm nor mistaken, Zero has some sub-$10K bikes available...That's what I think is driving their higher hit rate on visits...
Livewire site is frustrating...I was looking at the Del Mar deposit site and ended up getting kicked back to a LiveWire financing page...
(and now getting VMs and emails about when I'm going to purchase a LIveWire One)
Lots of manufacturing of "good quality" bikes in China...quality control is the issue...so companies still need to spend to verify...
iPhone has Fall Detection that works...and they're supposed to be working on a satellite link-up for the 911 call...
(Don't ask me how I know...)

I also saw a story last week where there was a (car) accident and Siri called Emergency to the scene.

The LiveWire stock price won’t make a solid move up until the Del Mar starts to ship next year. They are following the Tesla strategy. The LiveWire One is the Model S. The Del Mar is the Model 3. If the Del Mar is successful as a mass market motorcycle, that volume growth will lead to a higher stock price. Tesla went public in 2010, but Tesla’s stock did not move up sharply until 2018 when the Model 3 ramped up to high volumes. Once the Model 3 sales took off that year and Tesla proved it could deliver in volume, only then did the stock price shot up.
There’s no reason for investors to buy shares until the Del Mar is a success. Don’t dismay, though, they are following a proven strategy, and the Del Mar is a winner, so I believe LiveWire will succeed. I hope they get their marketing act together long before next spring, though.

Live Wire is an overpriced commuter. No matter how sophisticated it's tech, motorcyclist expect more in the way of range and usability. Most don't have money to throw away just to look sophisticated.

Yeah I won't buy stock from a company that isent offering the best motorcycle on the market either.
They need an out of this world, Model Two, to reel me back in to their brand, platform.
I want to see HD get on Lightnings level before I pour money into a stock I would trust to appetite, not tank from day 2...

Thank you for another informative video. You provide constructive criticism. As I've said before. Harley Davidson absolutely must go all in on electric or they will cease to exist. They've separated the brands, which allows the HOG buyers to keep buying the obsolete equipment so that the cash continues to flow. This half of the strategy is good. Now, HD must put maximum effort into Livewire if they wish to survive as a going concern.
It seems like companies dabbling in EV's falsely think they are copying Tesla's model of success. THEY ARE NOT. Look to Elon Musk to understand Tesla's formula. MAXIMUM EFFORT. Anything else is a failure.

    • @freedomiseverything

I agree. My hope is that LiveWire's new autonomy will allow the MAXIMUM EFFORT you describe.
