Probably the best piano / Keyboard 🎹 player on the planet. Incredible demo and the pocket piano did not miss a single note played no polyphony problems here absolutely amazing.
@@karayuschij Better??? There are great musicians of every genre and unquestionably there are from a technical perspective in particular, some awesome jazz pianists but to say that classical musicians are the best is total nonsense. Even from a purely technical point of view there are many techniques that classical pianists aren't remotely the most able at. When it comes to playing classical music then classical pianists are generally the best at that but in no way does that make them "better" than musicians of other musical forms.
I'm reminded of art pieces I've seen like this where there's an agenda to the format, like wearing blindfolds or something. There's a Death Grips video where Zack smashes and dicards each drum while soloing on the kit till its just the bass drum left. He also wore handcuffs. I think it was a statement about minimalism. Very cool, great demo of an interesting product.
I didn't believe you so I googled it, and I was shocked at the price. When i tried it at Namm I thought maybe it's a few hundred dollars worth. It's mostly plastic.
Jordan Rudess is so talented that he can play a symphony with 2 cans and a piece of string... it doesn't surprise me that he achieves this result. me with the same equipment it would go squeak squeak...
Ow come on, letting Jordan Rudess doing a demo is like using an oldschool Action Replay on the NES, it's cheating. The man can make an orchestra out of a Casio SK10 Amazing video, loved every second of it
This has 8 different piano sounds you can select and some other features but does not try to be a synthesizer. It is focused on mainly being a piano. I think I like that.
Why? I don’t understand. Please explain further. Practice and play every day keeps you moving and improving. He’s not old, he’s just improving with age.
Great example that you're not limited by the equipment you have. Not many can play that thing this well and even Jordan seemed to have some problems with the low quality buttons.
So this thing costs 1400 Dollars? Hmm! Certainly not something for the pocket money! I would have expected something below 500, at least when it's a pure masterkeyboard - which i would prefer anyway.
Well spotted dude, that's what I thought. But right at the start Rudess asks the time signature and declares it in 11. Tarkus - at least Eruption is in 5. But I agree it sounds pretty damn close.
Well that adds a whole new meaning to taking notes !
😂
The octaves and the oct have-nots✌️🎹
Well said.
Find all you need in your mind, if you take the time! 😜
The speakers are included 😅or extra for spare pockets
Jordan is a living arpeggiator 😂❤
Real talk. 😁💯🔥
Facts lol
Schwarzenegger is Arnie
Rudess is. Arpie 😂

I just love every word in this sentince.
I couldn’t play anything like that even if I programmed it in a sequencer. Jordan such a phenomenal talent. Best demo ever!
Thats why his name is Jordan Rulez
He has a pact with the.... 😜
It's called talent ;)
It's called practice
Practice then, his taste is only deferent, u know how many pianist can play things rudess can't? A lot
Jordan is such a great pianist and musician, and this was fun to watch
👀
The best and coolest Pocket Piano demo ever! :)
Great fun demo. Love the trick with the octave button.
Such a good way of dealing with the limitations.
@@althejazzman I use it a lot on 5-octave keyboards because I mainly play piano sounds. 61 keys don't always seem enough.
Hand Independence level: + ♾️
And fingers independance
What a demo, that does justice to the concept and also lets him showcase his maestro!
That was amazing! That keyboard looks awesome too!
It's just a plastic toy.
No professional keyboard player is gonna use it in real life!

Rudess is an incredible musician.
Damn! I can see myself with one! That Jordan Rudess is a beast!🤨🎶🎹👍🏾
Jordan is NOT human, WTF !!! My goodnessss 😍😍😍
I've seen Jordan play live 3 times.
Wizard!
Even the late, great Jon Lord would be giving Jordan a standing ovation. A true gift to us all.
Jordan casually playing.
Audience is stunned and become instant fans.
Tarkus ,haha Jordan is great
Bello/Magnifico.🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆
That was awesome. Made me laugh when he took and left that little piece or section. 😅😂
I was there at NAMM and tried that pocket piano. Pretty cool! It's fantastic in the hands of a master! Wow!

So many classical piano players are way better than him……

I like that practice anywhere!!!!!!!

wonderful moment!
Lol, what a great demo!
Thank you Jordan!
That's the most impressive instrument I have seen in decades
Holy moly! Amazing! A bit of tech just cause, but pretty cool all the same.

Major Emerson Lake & Palmer vibes

I just checked: 2178 Euros (including Tax) - that’s 2392 Dollar (in Europe) - that IS crazy 😳😳😳
1:10 Not gunna lie, I swore 😀Fantastic playing!
Just wow 🤩
Great demo.
Reminds me of Keith Emerson - RIP
I think if you give Jordan only one note, he'll still arpeggiate the hell out of it !!
Looking forward to see this pocket piano in my country :)
Pure genius!😮
haha, that was cool.. awesome...
When played keyboard I seldom used upper octave function but Jordan use everything, the real keyboardist
Very, very similar to an Emerson, Lake & Palmer track where Keith plays this as a piano solo…..Was it on the “Tank” album?
Awesome! Now need develop additional modules for it with pads, faders, knobs and so on.
Wow
Amazing
Jordons off the SCALES🎉❤
Nice to see Hideo Kojima there. Might see Jordan getting The Pocket Piano delivered in DS 2
Great demo
Awesome 😮
Amazing how they could add or subtract keys on the fly like that.

Impresionante...!!!!!
I love the Lex Luthor stare in the image on the wall behind him.
Cool device. Looks a bit like a prototype though. I would make the +/- octave buttons biggers. He was struggling with them.
Reminds me of a solo from "The Odyssey" of Symphony X
Yes good call! Knew it sounded familiar
what a way to demonstrate that
Badass!
Working on getting left hand dexterity like that........👍
Simplesmente MONSTROOOO
completely bad ass.

It's genial construction!

Bit of King Emerson for you there. Tarkus crossed with Tocatta.

It reminds me of a part of Three Fates from their debut album, actually. Very cool!
Keith Emerson Inferno soundtrack: Cigarettes,Ices,Etcs
Is he fighting a boss in BOTW??
When your hand can play that good any piano would sound great!
El monento en que queda con 3 notas jugando ! 😅 simplemente Rudess!

Can you make a 100ft long piano? Imagine having to go for a jog to play a scale.

WOW! Whats NEXT?
A pocket oboe?
The first rock pianist I would judge to have equalled the legendary Keith Emerson (that was an ELP tune, I can’t place the title. )
Where can i get that
in the public, this is the Simone from Audio Modeling
Does anybody know what arpeggio is he playing with his left hand?
Where can i buy it ?
Is he playing Tarkus inspired improvisation? 😃😃
Amazing player. Has hands like an Alien face hugger.
