This is a side by side comparison of Joan Armatrading's 'Love and Affection' and Swing Out Sister's 'Breakout' performed live in Fukuoka. Swing Out Sister's version follows a similar chord progression and some vocal cues as 'Love And Affection'. It's probably my favorite version of 'Breakout'. Hello! I was playing around with the two tracks late last night. Mr Dan's Magic and Pete Tong's version of La Ritournelle. Just a simple mix I was experimenting with adding the guitar strumming and the "AahAaahh" vocals back where they were originally into Pete Tong's version. I'm also a fan of instrumental versions of songs I like, so 2/3 of this mix is mostly instrumental from Pete's version....
