  • A Filipino folk dance believed to have Chinese origins. Dancers use sticks (bislak) imitating the use of chopsticks. Performers: Estrella Baldonado, Heide Houston, Vicky Noah, Menchie Partlow, Lonnie Simpson, and Precy Sturgeon. Performed during the June 10, 2012 Philippines Independence Day celebration by the Philippine-American Association of East Tennessee (PAAET) Catholic Community Group at the Sacred Heart Cathedral in Knoxville, Tennessee, USA

    Actually, this might be Spanish influence. Look for videos of the Spanish PALOTEOS dances.
