I’m 3 years late, but your harp is gorgeous ❤!!! I’m devout Catholic too and I’m starting to self teach in playing the harp. I like to play for God as well. God bless!
I could only think of how much talent those hands have! Both in your artwork and your harp playing. It goes without saying that the harp is gorgeous. Love the color.
I'm so excited for you.....my daughter plays piano, bells drum I love watching& hearing her lean new music my husband is amateur singer in a weekend band... lol, I think they do the get togethers for companship....I love music....
So beautiful. From the expression on your face I believe the harp is going to bring you peace. It's a beautiful instrument. Thank you for sharing your joy.
That is so beautiful Sharon. You weren’t realising how well you were playing because of the stress from interruptions but I have just heard it for the first time and love it. ❤
Thank you. It was so difficult because I have zero access to any harps. But I was interested in this one so I contacted Stephanie Claussen and talked to her about it. She’s a professional and still uses hers for gigs. So I thought okay I’m getting it then!
That's a gorgeous-looking instrument, Sharon - and your playing of that piece at the end was superb. I can't imagine how tricky it must be to move on to the larger harp with different finger-spacing, requiring a total reprogramming of the muscle-memory. Well done, thanks for sharing this with us and I definitely look forward to more recitals :-) Best wishes, Brian.
Oh my gosh I didn't know you played the harp. And a wonderful artist too? I feel like you're a beautiful fictional character from a Renaissance novel 😂😂😂😂 Thank you for sharing, I never noticed how much I love music on the harp!
Ha you’re funny! I have played flute professionally for many years but with my lung problems I was getting nervous about playing publicly because inevitably I’d end up with pneumonia right at concert time. So I thought a non woodwind instrument would be for me and I always wanted to play harp when I was a young girl but my parents didn’t have the money to spend on a harp. I ended up with clarinet because that is what they had in the house! That and a trumpet and I said no[e to that. I liked flute but was talked out of it. Then later in life I took up the flute. I have been playing that about 20 years.
I LOVE this color!!! I actually have a Dusty Strings Ravenna 34 in their Forest Green color option, as well as a Salvi Gaia 38 in their (Emerald) Green.
Pretty harp and pretty song. Were you playing by memory? I'm always impressed when someone does this! It's evident you really enjoy playing. Well done.
Yes. It is easier to play by memory for me being new because I need to see both hands as well. So sight reading and playing can be more difficult in the beginning.
The Harpsicle is great for a. 5 year old. The sound of course will be different than a large floor harp. There’s not much of a sound box. But you can always purchase one with a pick up and use an. Amplifier and that makes the sound beautiful. Yes the Jolie is much large than a lap harp. It is a floor harp. The sound box is large and has excellent sound.
Sharon your harp is so lovely. I adore the green color. Thank you for sharing your harp journey with us and the beautiful music your are making. I look forward to hearing you play more songs.❤️

Beautiful. What are you using to record?
Actually for this I just used my phone nothing else.
How would you say the soundbox compares to the Harpsicle? Is it much larger? I’m looking to upgrade my 5 year old to this harp too !
