in the lunar chronicles, there's one last book that could be considered a longer novella?? basically it takes you through the characters origin and backstories!! it's really quite good and i loved it

I loved The Lunar Chronicles series so much and the modern spin on fairytales. My favorite characters are Cress and Scarlet. The Renegades trilogy is amazing too. I just finished Supernova a few days ago & love Adrian & Nova as a couple!❤
I literally just read the first two books in the mark of the lion series by Francine rivers, and they were incredible!! They are chock full of powerful Christian themes and compelling characters!
Just finished this new, original collection of fairy tales, entitled 'Sillies, Fancies, and Trifles' - it was phenomenal and just perfect for the season. You guys would love it! What's everyone else reading, I want some more recommendations to add to the lovely ones here. Keep up the beautiful videos :)

I bought The Hunger Games series, All of Us Villans, and the second ACOTAR book. Haven't read any of them yet though because all of my library holds came in after the holidays so I'm prioritizing those!

I use Storygraph and the first 2 are rated almost the same (4.48 & 4.47) while the 3rd is rated 4.16, so still good but not as good. The main characters change in the 3rd book which was part of it for me.
I'm so jealous that you have the Once Upon a Broken Heart series on those beautiful covers! I live in Canada and our version is just not as pretty😭 I do have the books on my Kindle but I buy the physical ones after if I like the story or the cover is pretty 🙈
The hardcovers of Once upon a broken heart they DO are Special editions! if you go to a bookstore in the uk the normal edition it just have a regular color, I’m dying cuz I only have the special edition of a Curse of true love and I want the others but where I live is really really hard to get books like that 😭 eve tho, I’m happy that you have it! They are stunning!
If you’re looking for books that incorporate flowers and plants, I would recommend This Poison Heart by Kalynn Bayron! It’s YA fantasy with some mythology elements in it as well 💚
Supanova Convention - which have here in Australia; there is one in April in Gold Coast and November in Brisbane. We do get a lot of authors for this - a lot of Australian ones (Lynette Noni, Maria Lewis, Astrid Scholte, Jay Kristoff) and we also get international authors too (previous ones have included Victoria Aveyard, Maria V Synder, Victoria Schwab, Julie Kagawa, Christina Henry) So if you want to meet some authors it is definitely worth checking out - and this year I will be heading up to the Brisbane one in November; normally do the Adelaide one but thought it's about time for a longer road trip from Melbourne!!!!

You need to read The Language of Flowers by Vanessa Diffenbaugh. About a young woman who was in the foster care system and didn’t really connect with anyone. She found herself working in a flower shop and found her callig. Through studying flowers, their names and origins, she creates meaningful bouquets for her clients. It’s a wonderful book about life, love, acceptance and overcoming obstacles in life. I read it years ago and still think of it. 5 stars ✨
You need to read the lost flowers of alice hart!!!!! such a beautiful book entirely about the language of flowers and communicating through these when words are simply not enough - there’s a tv series on Prime too!
I just finished reading Betting On You and i liked it. Very YA and cute.... AND on the other side of the spectrum (i would assume) 😂 ... i will be starting Magnolia Parks today! 🤗

I definitely recommend reading a thousand pieces of you by Claudia Gray! Its a sci-fi romance, but not too complicated. Its part of the firebird trilogy❤ would love to hear your thoughts about it, read it when I was 13 and it still lives in my mind rent free

The book "Girl, Goddess, Queen" by Bea Fitzerald is about the God of flower and it's my first 5 star book of 2024! So I recommend that!
