Whether you're looking for a solution to uneven edges or just want an alternative to a standard sc foundation border, this is next level. So easy and so beautiful ! xx
This is a game changer, thank you!
What a lovely technique! As someone who has learned to crochet strictly from the internet, I feel like this is the kind of tip you would normally get when you learn from your auntie, grandma, etc. So I’m really grateful for tips like this. 😊
So glad it’s helpful. Lovely way of putting it ! 🧶💕
@@PlayHookywithMethat's more than useful, it's one of the most useful tips I ever heard, thank you so much, so simple and so beautiful 🩷
A great addition to my crochet arsenal. Thank you for explaining this in such detail.
Thank you ❤️🧶🤗
Gorgeous .. and super helpful and handy. Cheers.✌🏻🌷🌿
Thank you ! 🤗💕
This is both brilliant and gorgeous! Thank you especially for the little tip about making the loops even because I do tend to be a little bit of a tighter crocheter. Also I have been wanting to tell you that I'm enjoying your daily meditative flower. I decided to make them into a garland for along the top of the wall in my craft room. Attaching the flowers at only one point was allowing them to twist around a lot and making me crazy. So instead I attached them just like you do, but three times: after the second double crochet, after the third double crochet and again after the fourth double crochet. It makes a cute little 3-braided effect and it keeps them more manageable. Just wanted to share that tip to let you know how versatile your cute little flower project is! ❤❤❤
Ooooh, wow, that sounds fabulous. 🤩Your craft room is going to look sooo sweet with that. I wish I’d thought of it!
But thinking on it , these kittens would have probably liked it a little too much too 😂🧶
Thank you for telling me . ❤️❤️❤️
I'm jealous of your kittens. I have a 2-year-old 88 lb German Shepherd and I'm waiting for him to calm down enough so I can get a cat😂 they're my favorite
I really love the look of that corner. Thanks for sharing this with us.
Thank you so much 🧶💕😀
Wow that's cool!!! Saved this to try next time I need a border. Thank you for always posting clear videos with your calming voice. You're awesome.
Appreciate your kind words , thank you 🧶💕
Another game changer! Thank you Roz. Your tutorials have helped me so much in the past be a better crocheter. This little technique will help me with my current mosaic crochet double border! It’s always the little things that make a big difference 🤗🤗🤗🤗
So glad this will be of use to you 🧶👏🏻😀❤️
I love that we seasoned crocheters can still learn new tips!
Yes! 😀🧶👏🏻❤️
Thank you for demonstrating this unique border. I really like it and will definitely be using it in the future.
So glad you found it helpful! 🧶💕
I’m making a sampler throw using your tutorial and I’ll use this border when I get it finished. You have the best ideas! Thanks!
Thank you so much , Chrissy, much appreciated ! ❤️❤️❤️
I’m so happy you are working on a sampler. They are so much fun. 🤩
WOW! this border is awesome. I like plain borders that do not overpower the piece. This is so perfect. 💖Saved it and titled it: "The Line." I like this stitch as much as your Zig Zag border stitch, Roz. 💞 That has been my go-to stich. I'm looking forward to trying this.
Oh , good, Joan! 😀I’m with you on that. I lean towards more simple borders to let the blankets itself shine . Have a great week 💕💕💕
Wow I like that! Thank you for sharing your talent. ❤❤I always learn so much watching you❤❤❤
Thank you! 💕🧶
As always you come up with the best tip! Thank you so much as no matter how much I try to keep my edges even there still seems to be a few that just won’t cooperate. And besides, this is a very beautiful border 🙂 thank you for sharing it with us. ♥️
It’s definitely a win win . I think edges are the most difficult issue overall in crocheting . ❤️
@ that is SO true. Thank you again! You are a fiber Queen 👸
@@jean-jn3nq big hugs
I am definitely going to give this a try! It looks gorgeous. Thanks for another helpful video ❤️
Thanks so much for sharing! Love this! 🙂🥰😍😘❤

Brilliant tutorial! Will definitely be doing this edging next time! Thanks so much! 🧶🦋

How interesting !! Beautiful! Thank you for sharing your knowledge with all of us !
Thank you 🤗🧶
Hello Roz... Today I skimmed through the tutorial because I'm preparing for upcoming eye surgery , but am saving to play list for later . Hugs 🤗and kisses for you and the boys and girls . Have a great day and week ahead.
Wishing you much success with your surgery this week, Angela . Biggest hugs from all of us 😘🤗🤗🤗😽😽😽
I really like this border thank you for explaining it so clearly.
I'm so glad! 💕🧶
Double duty!! So pretty!! I love borders!! ❤️
Me too , always fun finding new alternatives to the classics 🧶❤️
That’s absolutely gorgeous! I wished I had known that before! Thank you for letting us know. ❤
Me too 😅🧶❤️ so glad you liked it
nice! i’ve never thought to do it this way 😮😊thx!
Yes indeed I am going to try that! I hate the look of raw edges on something that is probably a really wonderful piece we've worked hard on. It can just destroy the whole piece if the raw edge isn't sorted right. This is such a pretty way to finish off those rough edges & it really pulls it together. Thank you so much for this, Roz.
You bet, Kate ! It’s so true about raw edges 🧶💕
I’m almost done with a small project with wonky edges and will definitely be trying this technique out tonight. It’s beautiful
I hope you love it , I’m sure it will look great 🧶💕
Thank you for this easy border. My borders are usually not neat and this will absolutely help me. ❤
You are so welcome! 🧶💕
Fabulous! ❤🎉❤ just finished a throw and I’m going to try this for the border!
Yay! 🧶💕
This is both delightful and lovely! Thank you! MaryAnne in New Mexico USA
Thank you, MaryAnne! I’m glad you like it 💕
Great information. So helpful, thank you. 😊
I will sure try this!
This looks so good!!! Yes, I am going to try this! My edges usually look bad!
Such a common problem for all of us 🧶💕
This looks so awesome
I’m definitely going to try this on my moss-stitch blanket!
Excellent 👏🏻😀🧶
Thank you for this tip. I love it ❤❤❤❤❤😊
Thank you ! 🤗❤️
Love love love it! Definitely will do next time, thank you ❤
So glad, Carolyn ! 👏🏻🧶😀💕
I love this and will try it on my borders 😊
Wonderful! 👏🏻
Really nice ❤ Thank you!!
Thank you !
That’s awesome!! Thank you🤗
You bet, Sue 👏🏻💕🧶
Thank you!🐱
🧶❤️😽
This looks great! Thank you!
I am excited about it 👏🏻😀🧶
I really love this border. I have been making washcloths and using a slip stitch chain one, which I like very much. I am going to try this one. As always thank you for sharing. Meow. ☮️🌎🌲🌷
Awesome , Jennie! Let me know how it works for you. The ss with a ch 1 is such a winner so I’m curious how this one will compare .
Enjoy your week 😽😽😽🧶💕
The next set I make I will use your stitch. It takes me a while. Lol I crochet for pleasure. I am never in a hurry. For some reason RUclips isn't notifying me of your posts.🌷🌷🌷
@ hahaha , great ❤️
RUclips seems to be very hot and cold with messages 🫤
Love this!!!! Thank you so much!!
Thank you ! 💕
I just used this technique for the edges of a button band on a sweater and it was so perfect! So flat and clean. Game changer! Thanks again. ❤@@PlayHookywithMe
@ oh, that’s great. Thanks for the feedback, always great to know!! 👏🏻👏🏻😀
A very useful technic to know, I shall be definitely be using it on my scarfs and blankets. Many thanks 🧶🧶Maria
Wonderful , Maria 🤗🧶
hmmm I will have to try this when I finish the blanket I'm working on.
❤❤❤ beautiful
Thank you ❤️❤️
Lovely border! Would this be a good border for my C2C blanket? Thanks so much Roz ❤
Yes , it would look lovely ❤️
Remarkable. 🙂 [P.S., thank you for the note “Final corner”]
Thank you , happy home 💕🧶
I am trying to make my mom a sweater. I noticed only when I was finished with the back panel that I couldn't decide if I wanted to chain one and turn or chain 2 and turn. Now the bottom is all wonky. This might be just the thing to even it all out and make it look like it has a nice finished edge. I appreciate it. :)
It happens! I hope this helps. 😁🧶
Reducing some sc’s will help to tighten it up too. Meaning the slip st sc that was done here . 💕
Love this! Just wondering what stitch/pattern did you use on the square? thanks.

I like this idea. What does the back look like?
Watch at around 8:10 . I flip it over to weave in the ends and you’ll be able to see there. Sorry about that , I meant to show that more clearly and forgot.
It looks very clean on the back 👏🏻💕
I'm gonna give this a try around clusters of granny squares. :)
That sounds lovely, I bet it will look great! 👏🏻🧶 🤗
Saving this for when I finish this blanket because it is looking ROUGH rn
I know it’s frustrating when it gets like that . If this doesn’t do the trick , try the other one . The slip stitch is tighter and invisible and it seems to be the only thing that works for me when nothing else does. That and blocking should do it 🧶💕
@PlayHookywithMe omg thanks so much for the tip I'll keep it in mind 🥺
What is the stitch pattern of the main fabric? Is there a tutorial for that stitch pattern?
