I listened to your interview with Ezekiel last week.....this message brought me to tears because you said you lost everything after Covid 😢😢😢wow.....to God be the glory
Of course if you have tattoos before accepting Jesus Christ God will forgive you as long as you have repentance and here is a great article to reference the verse this Pastor refers to Revelations 19:16 and yes read your Bible but also do your research and study don’t go by what man says Go by what God has written!! In order to properly understand this verse, despite the many interpretations of the Book of Revelation, every Bible reader can definitely agree that there is a ton of figurative language and symbolic imagery in it. Jesus most definitely does not have flames as eyes or a sword coming out of his mouth- so it’s safe to say, he doesn’t have a thigh tattoo either. One way to interpret this verse is to say that the robe was on his thigh. Rulers often had their titles embroidered on their robes or engravements on their armor. In this text, Jesus was sitting on a white horse, so it’s very likely that in this imagery the title written on his robe, rested on his thigh since He was on the horse, and John (the author) was just being very descriptive. Think about the imagery in this text. First of all, Jesus was wearing a robe- a sign of majesty, the thigh is symbolic to power, since a warrior’s sword rests on his thigh, and finally, the name: King of Kings and Lord of Lords. All the imagery in this text, screams who Jesus is and what He means to us! www.bibledingers.com/post/tatted-jesus
God specifically said no to tattoos in the book of Leviticus. Don’t get me wrong God uses him in a great way for His glory but this is where I don’t agree about it’s okay to get a tattoo.
As I commented above, his passion, knowledge and delivery of the word is admirable. However, he greatly erred on the part of the tattoo. He himself must not fall victim to what he’s preaching against because it’s flippant to say Jesus had a thigh tattoo. It obviously was written on his garment as Jesus would not have been exposing his thigh.
Wow, glory to God! I'm listening to this replay from 4 years ago - My God, powerful! This really ministered to me. I needed this at this time! My God....Hallelujah! Still Standing, in the name of Jesus! And the minstrels, so anointed! 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥
My family has been homeless for 5 months now. I never stop believing in God, but I was angry with Him. My heart was hardened because my family is separated. My husband who is in another state, sent this message to me to encourage me. By the middle of this message my heart was softened and I repented to the Lord of my anger and disbelief. I will praise our God even in the storm. I love God for who He is!!! I will praise 🙌🏽 Hallelujah
Thank you so much ! Glory be to The Almighty God for this man of God , My Husband and I are all the way in Cleveland, Ohio and we tune in a lot and we just want say Thank you for sound doctrine and the passion and fire that burns in you soul , God Bless Your Family & congregation in Jesus Name Amen 🙏🏾🙌🏾
Thank you Pastor for an eye opening sermon! I would like to shed the light on the part you talked about the tattoos, as you can see there are comments that the description is symbolic in Revelation 19:16. But i want to get your attention on the following, the way you talked about the tattoos was very enabling and encouraging as there’s nothing wrong in it, and you can go and get as many tattoos as you want. don’t you think, there are people who have fleshly desires to go and get tattoos-all the time? (Even if it’s a tattoo that talks about Christ or symbolises that you’re a Christian- you can always preach the Gospel, why would you need to ink it on your body? What is the meaning and the purpose of it?) Also, don’t you think there are people who like it too much- aka obsessed that they turn inking their body their idol and they cannot stop until their whole body is inked? Please fast and pray about this, you will get your answers. So you won’t end up being the one who’s preaching wrong, and leading people into sin of obsession and idolisation...i was really happy that i found your sermon, i like the way you preach the Gospel and how educated you are but in this point got me worried if you’re misleading. God bless you!
That was my only disappointment with the sermon. The description of Jesus in revelation was not saying it was on his literal thigh, as it states that he had on clothing that covered his thigh. The writing was on the clothing and not on his literal thigh. Also you don’t want to be endorsing tattoo in that context as some will go overboard with it. Good delivery of the message however. I like his passion, knowledge and delivery.
You aught to say "didn't that sermon strike my heart? Didn't that message exactly relate to my condition? Wasn't it a rebuke that I deserved, a word of reproof or of exhortation? Let me take it to heart that which I have heard and let me not judge the preacher, for he is God's messenger to my soul. I came to church to be judged by God's Word and not to judge God's Word myself" "
The whole point of sanctification is to clean out the ways of the world so why continue filling it ,tattoos happens to be one of them. We compare revalation alot but who's the only one worthy of praise is jesus,God can do what he wants when he wants. It's not for us to to copy the things that he will do,rather live the way he lived . Jesus lived as an example in the physical form for us to copy and to learn from him believe in him to be saved. The fact that he never had a tattoo here on earth proves that getting a tattoo is still wrong. Alot of Christians are not ready for that message they will dislike and get offended.. and another thing jesus is the word. We don't need to tattoo the word on our flesh but rather in our hearts. If the lord comes back with a flaming sword does that mean we could also pour gasoline on a sword and slash people. A little bit of Levin ruins the whole cup Christians. Ask the holy spirit for confirmation on the tattoo business. And the people you watch The bible says whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.i challenge you to fast and pray to get insight on this topic, the constant word is gonna pop up in your head over and over and over regardless of what the preacher said and thank jesus after, I have never seen a tattoo shop in the name of jesus. It's a filthy shop that obeys all your commands.
