Short of a fire arm. You now have the best Home Defense weapon you can buy. Made primarily for stabbing. Since the Roman Solider was also using a full body shield. So the thrust and downward chop was how the Gladius was used. Its a very nice looking sword. Oh, and if you have not figured it out by now. That sheath/scabbard, is to be worn like a baldric, over the shoulder, sword resting on your hip.
It is so wrong that they did only one. That sword is extremely Hallmark. Don't get me wrong. I am absolutely happy for you for having such a beautiful and functional sword; it is absolutely perfect. I am just looking at RMJ sideways as it is not like you can really get their stuff [i.e., "out of stock", "notify you when we make something", etc.]. Hell, I got notifications for items, go to the site and they are still stating, "out of stock". It's simply frustrating that a company makes it extremely hard when you are trying desperately to throw money at them. Now, they secretly sell a Gladius and now we gotta wait, wait, wait, etc. They are in business not to take my money, smdh.
I feel your frustrations. I’ve been wanting a set of “snuckles” for quite some time, for education purposes and such as far as military usage during wars. They seem to release in the smallest of batches and if you are not sitting in front of a computer, on the site with CC information at the ready you might as well not even show up. Sadly, you’ll find them on eBay at a greatly increased price. It’s completely by the luck of the draw.
@@haveaknifeday Thank you for the reply. I truly get it but good companies are so few that when you find a place, hell, you just want the best [something you can take pride in]. Ugh, sorry Dude, I had not had my cup of coffee yet & it's certainly ime to cook one up. I will feel better. I wish you a wonderful drama-free and lightly caffeinated day. Again, congrats on such an immaculate item.
There’s a meme, “shut up and take my money.” That’s how I feel about companies like this. Frustrating but I’d sure like to visit there and see what the current challenges are “if you know what I mean” that keeps our money in our pockets and not theirs. Highly caffeinated and dedicated to Having a knife day 👍🏼
IKR. Very nice blade but this one and the Albions are just incredibly pricey. Might just bite the bullet and just spend 34 bucks and get a Cold Steel Gladius Machete. lol
Nice looking sword, however, I can see dozens of hot spots on the handle. For that kind of money they could have designed the handle more user friendly. No thanks.
Poor quality for the price. Membership my ass, talk about discrimination of healthy buying customers.. I think not. Bad business decision on rmj. 3V is not a new metallurgy feat, y’all, open your eyes. Lipstick on a pig, I’d expect higher quality materials and craftsmanship……. A little late to be getting into the game with 3V. Especially when you see all of the ways they cut corners in building the said product to make it more, “efficient” with working with a such time consuming material. 3V syndicate club… how absurd. 😂
I'm assuming you have one and have inspected it in person because the one I have is perfect. Anything that even gets remotely close to the edge gets cut, sheath is dope, packaging was dope, and all the goodies it came with were an excellent touch. You need to ask yourself how many made in America Gladiuses are there in this caliber the grind on the tip alone is legendary. Lastly, what steel would you have liked to have seen?
That sword is definitely you ! Beautiful blade congratulations
The grind on that piece is fantastic!

Thank you for the pointer. I also own a full sized, “round” steel shield.

Nice brother
Definitely not historically accurate by a long shot but a really nice modern interpretation non the less.
More like an homage, very true.
Holy shiet! Do want. Very nice blade
I was able to comp one of the very few last ones. Bronze and od micarta, probably the coolest thing I have the pleasure of owning
Jesse R it’s definitely a honored few that clicked fast enough to secure one. fratres in victoria
It's like it's wrapped in the Shroud of Turin.
Indeed. If I could go back in time I’d open the box with my screw gun 🤣
Daaaaammm 😲 that is one BAD ASS Blade!
I am so jealous lol congrats man, I look forward to having one of my own someday
wow that thing is beautiful
That is so sweet!

How can I get One sir?
This was a limited release item so that the only way you could get one would be on eBay.
Guy buys a thousand dollar sword but doesn't have a drill
A drill? For what?
To open it? I did it the old fashion way. I do own drills but I didn’t feel like pulling it out. Lil elbow grease never hurt anyone.
@@haveaknifeday I was giving you some shit. how do you like the 3v steel over some spring steel for that thing. I'm jealous
👍🏻♠️💀⚡️

So that’s a no for you then.
