I haven't tied for years, and this is making all the techniques come back to me. And I used to tie and fish soft- hackle flies back when it was considered so passé and old fashioned! And now it's back again! 😂
I really like this fly. I catch so many on this style of Tenkara. Blue/Purple and dark colors are great. I see all colors of fluorescent egg sacs on Mayflies. I learned this from a non-trout stream in lowland hot water areas of southeast USA. Alabama no trout streams lots of big mayflies.
