at 3:38 i don't get a preview of the custom layer. If i press ok and see everything in Ae, i got the texture. I'd like to have the preview textured in Element. idk what i did wrong. I did everything exact like you did. Except my element doesn't have the option to make the sampling layer to first frame

@@cihaneyinlioglu7565 no :/ haven't used ae in a while. Changed to blender :D ae is a joke to blender^^ at least at most points :D

If I'm not mistaken, this option appeared in the version of Element 3D 2.2.2.

Hola, tengo una duda! Al momento de realizar el logo 3d con element cuando le doy ok no aparece el logo en la capa, es super raro, lo intente varias veces y nada, la capa queda igual como la cree y el archivo 3d nunca me aparece en la capa sólo cuando me meto a setup, sabes que está sucediendo ?
The final render shown here has the youtube search bar also extruded inward, which isn't shown through the tutorial. Is this the secret? To make us "Search" for a secret which is the extruded "search" bar ? Lol i'm hopeless
The part with the extruded search bar, I did after finished recording this video tutorial. I believe that in order to make such extrusion, there is no need to make additional explanations. However, you can download the project files and see how it is done: gum.co/e3dsite

Hi any reason why on my end following 3:38 when trying to put the custom layer shot level 1 in diffuse, it doesn't shows up, just plane white masked bevel, any idea why?
Perhaps I misunderstood what the problem is, but check if the duration of the precomposition with the texture is sufficient.
@@thevideolancer Like when you try to apply the texture to the material it just doesn't show, material is still color grey.

I don't know how but when i am dragging my screen shots into the composition as in 1:30 my compositions are switching the images. Composition level 1 is showing second part of the website and level 2 is showing 1 st half.

Try moving the time indicator to the frame where the content of the custom layer will be displayed, then return to the plugin settings.
