My wife has a 2021 AWD Limited Blizzard Pearl White Rav4 with the Cross Bars. Bought new in 2021 with 1 mile and paid $40,000 no mark up. No issues with 19500 miles as we speak today. Will say the engine is a little noisy with acceleration. No interior rattles, but did have a TSB on a faulty fuel smell that had something to do with fuel pump seal under the back seat 🤷♂️😎
Phew....40k. Just hit 65k miles on my 2019 lunar rock adventure that i got for 32k brand new in 2019. Love it. I actually just picked up a yakima cargo box today and coincidentally it cuts some of the wind noise that the oem crossbars gave.
9:23 Just did. Intentionally bought a 2024 fully loaded Limited AWD while I can before the G6 comes out, because I don't want to buy any new generation vehicle during the first 2-3 years of release, and don't want a turbo.
Was running an older Rav4 for the last few years and this year was the time for a new vehicle. Was fully set on a ‘24 Rav4 Hybrid but the stars just perfectly aligned for me this year and I was able to get a Land Cruiser instead. Love the Rav but just couldn’t say no the major increase in capability of the LC lol!
The Adventure model is called the Trail model in Canada. It has an upgraded towing capacity to 3000 lbs I think. You just cannot beat the RAV4 for the value of what you are getting.
I regret buying 23 xse over the Limited hybrid. I can live without cool seat but the current gen Rav4 needs power front passenger seat to adjust its height.
It’s a shame the 10.5” is a $3,490 upgrade on the Adventure (which I think is a must have), pushing the price of the Adventure from $36,265 to $39,755. Meanwhile, the TRD starts at $39,690 and includes the 10.5”. It’s difficult to justify the Adventure at that point. Still a great car though. Will run for decades.
After 3 years of ownership of my 2021 Rav4 Prime, I have to give it a rating of 7.5 out of 10. The i-AWD system sucks on this “performance” model of the Rav4 lineup. Even changing to the best street performance tires available, it makes no difference with handling or traction issues. Savagegeese was right about this issue in his video review of the Rav4 Prime. I fully understand it’s not supposed to handle like a sports car, but the way the Rav4 Prime handles around corners at moderate speeds is not good. Toyota could’ve done better in this department for its “performance” Rav4 model. Overall, I’m satisfied with my purchase and would recommend the Rav4 Prime to friends if asked. I bought my Prime in 2021 for MSRP & qualified for the $7,500 credit that was available at the time for the Prime.
The only thing I don’t like about the RAV4 is that when you get into the car, you have to duck your head down and I’m not that tall. You don’t have to do that with the Subaru Forster, so I would not purchase a RAV even though it’s a great vehicle with great gas mileage
What I wonder is if the Adventure suspension is softer and more compliant than the TRD trim which is way too stiff. If it's softer, and then you swap out those 19 inch wheels for 17s, you've got a super comfortable daily driver and even better for off road!
You already know. I own a new model hybrid XSE - by your Influence. I also own a new model gas AWD. The gas AWD is loud, shifts hard and is not nearly as enjoyable compared to my hybrid. But this typical of course. Have you seen the new woodland with the black roof and army green with bronze wheels?
I’m a Toyota guy. Wanted to love the RAV4. I drove a 23 Limited hybrid and 23 Cr-V sport touring back to back. The Cr-V driving experience was significantly better. Not selling my tundra though. ❤️💪🏾
@@TRDJon Maybe so.. I'm guessing they will go with all hybrid Power train as they did with the Camry since it's on the same platform.. I hate that as I'm not really ready for hybrid. As well as an e- CVT transmission..😕 I LIKE HAVING A CHOICE..
I think it depends on what you mean by off road haha. Like basically any car, this’ll do a dirt road, mud and snow just fine provided you have the right tires. If you’re talking about rock crawling then obviously it’s hard no 😂
Smh, you had me until you said it has Toyota Sense 2.5. You would think in 2024 ALL Toyotas would at least be 3.0. Now. I was hoping this affordable bad boy would have it.
My wife loves her 2022 Rav4 Hybrid LTD. The best part is the 42.6 mpg average at the pump over 37k miles!
I just bought a 2024 Rav4 XLE, Love it ! No crossbars, no sunroof = no wind noise.
"I do drive a little gangster" lol. I used to drive like that too before my neck issues. It's comfortable. Great review, thank you.
Thanks for watching! Really allows the heated seats to work out everything lol.

Glad to here that it has been super solid for you all!

Oh nice snag man. Thats awesome!
Can’t go wrong with Army Green! Best Toyota color.
One doesn’t regret selling a RAV4
But neither does one regret owning one
I have owned and sold 5 of them😅
For sure!
Traded in my Rav for a 4Runner. I do miss the better mpg’s but do. It regret the trading in at all.
Congrats!!!
That green has got to come out on the LC and new 4runner

Dude nice!!! Congrats on the new LC!!!!

Yep it does. This one weirldy though didn't have a tow hitch
At 6’4 I couldn’t come close to fitting in it so I am going with a Forester.
I regret buying 23 xse over the Limited hybrid. I can live without cool seat but the current gen Rav4 needs power front passenger seat to adjust its height.
FOr sure great little cars
Have owned two of them. 2nd one was a hybrid. Good power and good mpg.
Super good mpg on them.

Yea the TRD is where its at.
Hey man! Love your reviews. I have a Taco 15 TRD Sport. Best ruck ever made!
Also, personal question; do you and your wife have any kids or want any?
No kiddos at the moment man, not really on our mind.

I don’t like how the screen sticks out like a sore thumb.
Later model life cycle upgrade for sure

Lower roof line for sure
Rav 4 is cool 😎 but no bump stops on the Taco, and 4runner upsets me!
Sorry you are upset on it man.
Yes but at least there is a 3rd party fix!

Hard to beat the value the RAV4 provides, especially the lower trim levels. My 21 LE AWD was $28,150 and has 114,000 miles on it
They do have the off road version for the hybrid called the woodland edition.
Yes.
You already know. I own a new model hybrid XSE - by your Influence.
I also own a new model gas AWD.
The gas AWD is loud, shifts hard and is not nearly as enjoyable compared to my hybrid. But this typical of course.

Oh man I have and that one looks amazing!!! Yes the hybrid is a bit quieter for sure. This one was a little noisey but not horrible for acceleration.
@@TRDJon agreed. Tows more too.
Yes! That too
I'm thinking about buying a used one of this trim and color many years from now.
Would be a solid used car to pick up!
I paid less than $40k for a brand new 5th gen sr5 4R... the prices on these is wild for what it offers.
Nice!
Had a 19 adventure that was loaded and would be TRD today. Only paid 36k 😢
Nice man!
I’m a Toyota guy. Wanted to love the RAV4. I drove a 23 Limited hybrid and 23 Cr-V sport touring back to back. The Cr-V driving experience was significantly better.

Isnt the woodlands edition basically the hybrid version of the adventure. I know it’s not direct but similar no?
I believe you are correct.
Yeah I like it, clean looking.
For sure!
Better get one while you can afford it. Judging by Toyotas new trend the next gen will be at least $3k more
Probably yep. New tech, R&D. Or it could be like the camry which is cheaper for its base model than the outgoing.
Since the TRD and Adventure are so close to each others, they should just put everything from the TRD to the Adventure and get rid of the TRD trim
I see them doing that with the refresh I bet
And we all know you don’t like wind noise.
Hate it, and this RAV does a great job of making it go un heard.
Nice design and color but a bit over priced, ill pass thanks.😊
Definitely a solid used pickup down the line
We want Army green back. Why does Toyota hate its customers?
It’s here
@@TRDJon Not on 4Runner, Tacoma or Tundra.
Oh, well you didn't say that. Got it.
I wonder how long it's going to take Toyota to redesign the Rav4. I'm guessing 2030.
Redesign set for 2026.
Yea we probably see it next year.
I personally like my 24 XSE model loaded with all the features....im sorry...RAV4 and off road is laughable.
I think it depends on what you mean by off road haha. Like basically any car, this’ll do a dirt road, mud and snow just fine provided you have the right tires. If you’re talking about rock crawling then obviously it’s hard no 😂
At that price, I’d honestly rather pay a bit extra and find an SR5 4R
For sure!
Good car for a mom. I'd rather stick to my 4runner that gets half the mpg tho
For sure does lol
40k for a rav 4..... seriously
Rav40K lol
Smh, you had me until you said it has Toyota Sense 2.5. You would think in 2024 ALL Toyotas would at least be 3.0. Now.

The new gen will for sure.
