I have not played to map because I’m away from home I’m ocean fishing for fluke, I’ll get on a hunt some springbok when I get back, have a fun time playing, you should try to shoot a Cape buffalo with the 30-30!

This game runs so smoothly, are you playing on PC? Because I play on ps5 and the frames when not in performance is horrible. Also some guns even make the game drop in frames, along woth other ossues but I love the game!
Btw I’m on Xbox and when I pull out the bow it won’t let me pull out my binos, also apparently it’s supposed to be if you shoot an animal with the bow the rest aren’t supposed to spook but as I’ve seen they all spook if I shoot something with the bow
I enjoy both games, thought I'd like Way of the Hunter more, but to me, Call of The Wild is much better. I like the graphical style better, the ATV is better than the car. I enjoy the shooting and recoil more, its great to have the dog and it has way more reserves and animals, although that last part isnt really fair considering how long its been out compared to WotH. I think the weapons are cooler in Way of the Hunt though, and animal models look cleaner, also the UI and color theme is more to my liking. The meny's are just overall better in that game
I’m not to sure. To be honest with you I didn’t even know I was playing free hunt for the longest time cause I didn’t know that was a feature I was just trying to jump into the game as fast as I could 😂

Been getting back to WotH after a year or so break just because of this map and it's a masterpiece (played it extensively for the first few weeks after release but put it down for a while). Hope they continue to add more content! This is a gem, I just hope it doesn't become too small a niche that it becomes unaffordable to continue to support.

I'm literally driving and killing everything next to my car. Never done it like this on other maps but for this you need the car.
It really helps if you have the perk where the animals don't spook as easy from your vehicle.

Yeah when you shot that one with the bow the rest of the herd stayed, maybe only one can come in for them to not notice
That is possible! Like they have to be a certain distance away from the heard in order for the rest of them not to get spooked.
