2:15 this alarm was part of my elementary school's fire alarm system, (this was a long time ago.) it was mostly ceiling mounts of this alarm but there were a few wall mounts of the same thing: 4 in the gym area, and one outside where the playground is, as for the panel: it was a notifier. (I forgot the model number) It was the very first fire alarm system I've ever heard in my life, and trust me IT WAS LLLOOOUUUDDD!!!
@newageserveralarm you do a great job with these system test videos. Plus my mom keeps thinking the fire alarms from your videos that something wrong in our house.
As I posted in your fire drill video, I had that exact same fire alarm system at my elementary school, and I absolutely hated it!!, It scared me senseless when I knew a fire drill was coming, that rad thing on your wall with the light?..It was a monster to me, I hated the sound, My school still has that alarm!!, and there are times where i visit the school, I would look up at that *Monster* and just shake my fist at it, I don't know if I ever will get over that thing, it traumatized me for life.
When I went to an elementary school (Spruce Creek) when I was in 2nd, 3rd, 4th, & 5th grade, we had some 2901-9806 & 2903 Horn Lights (after I moved to Port Orange). But now 1 of them I think are sandwhiched by either an MT or Integerty.
I went to 2 elementary schools, 1 in kindergarten and another from grades 1-5. The fire alarm system at the one I went to in kindergarten had SAE AV 32's horn-lights (red lights) that were on code 3 but I don't remember the pull stations though. In my middle school that I went to for grades 6 and 7 before I moved had the same thing only it was on continuous with simplex chevron pull stations behind metal cages with glass break rods, i3 smoke detectors, system sensor heat detectors like in "New system test 1", and old Edwards heat detectors that are bell shaped just like the one you have in your collection. Also, you can't hear the alarms from in the classrooms so they put in a "hi-lo" alarm through the intercom. FYI, the school's over 40 years old. lol
There was an adressable 4251 pull that was used with 2100 and 2120 systems. The model was like 4251-XXX (I don't recall the actual number, I know it was 3 digit). The main difference between the adressable 4251 and 2099 pulls and the modern 4099 series is the 4251/2099 adressable models used mapnet modules while the 4099 series uses IDnet.
when i first started school, it was an old system with alarms that looked like simplex 9838s with strobes on the front, but they said faraday on the grille. When i was in 2nd grade the system started acting up,so when i came back into 3rd grade the next year, there was a brand new Silent Knight system with white wheelock exceeders,Silent Knight BG-12s,and a Silent Knight IFP-2000 panel
Wow Andrew ur wasn’t the only place that hade horn lights with a strobe together lol there was a mall I went to and it had a simplex horn light and a simplex strobe above it lol
your not alone, i hate continuous horns :S my first school had alarms that looked like the first one you showed in basement, not by the woodshop... and some pull stations i forgot what they were...
It is kind of improper to see a wheel lock something remote strobe on top of a mechanical horn sounding horn it's just sounds a little improper or looks a little improper but is still cool weird cool 😀👍👍👍👍
My school has an IBM Coded panel with Single-Strokes Bells it was updated with a Simplex 4005 tied on the IBM panel the old pull-rods are still in place the 4005 and the IBM panel will be removed soon
You're scared of mechanical horns on continuous too? I hate them because my school was on fire one day and they used to have 4040's and the continuos was really scary.
i used to get scared during firedrills in kindergarten we had a simpelex trualart and it was on contiues and every time we had a firedrill it would scare the $hi# out of me
Between system test 10-20 you keep messing up the intro because you liked intro effects from the other videos so you decided to mess you intro from system test 3 and 24
this nostalgia hitting crazy hard rn i watched these vids when i was in elementary school and im boutta graduate high school
Sameee
My Elementary School had the Integritys. Those were so loud
that 4051 sounds awesome
You are the only youtuber that taught me alot more about fire alarms through all of these years. You are the best! Also, keep up the good videos.
2:53 best 9838 ever
I like the sound of the horn in the same room as the panels. Those horns are in harmony with each other.
Oh man,my fears of mechanical horns in continuous grades K-2
Wowww
My old school had Simplex 4051s on Simplex 2903s with Simplex Chevron Pull Stations
Code was Slow March Time

@newageserveralarm you do a great job with these system test videos. Plus my mom keeps thinking the fire alarms from your videos that something wrong in our house.
I remember, once in my school they had the wheelock ns on continuous and I screamed I said please don't do that again.

i had a system at my old school that wen in continuous... sounded exactly the same as this

Your panel software version had Code-3 in it. Do a Mini System w/ that version of the 8005 software and code-3
hey, the 40-50 sounds like the integerty.
Don’t even sound the same but have the same pitch!!!
4051 not 4050
i wish we had fire alarms in the middle school instead we have crappy intercoms and a fire drill horn in whoop.

Kinda funny how the 4051 in the basement sounds like an EST Integrity, LOL!
The system sounds amazing!
can you do a vid of the spectra alerts Plz

Where do u get all of the fire pull down alarmes? is it easy to instale? How much are the pull down fire alarm?
The alarm in the Basement sounded like the EST Ingrety alarm.
3:46 FASTEST PULL

No fair!! You have the Panasonic talking caller Id! The model is 931T
5:22 was the strobe still flashing
Every school I've been to has mechanical and electrical horns in continuous.
my sons school has commander threes they start with a blast then sound once then go to code 3 (plus is fast code 3)
Wow Andrew ur wasn’t the only place that hade horn lights with a strobe together lol there was a mall I went to and it had a simplex horn light and a simplex strobe above it lol
What's the diffrence between a mechinaical horn and a regular horn?
Just saying I know exactly who is the prank caller. Arie from the eas community.
0:27 can you guess mechanical horns
How come the pitch from the 9806 started changing when you pulled the 4251-20
The one in his room?
The 9806 horns have a screw on the back to adjust the tone. It probably vibrated out of place or into a different one like mine always does.
What strobe was that on the 4051?
Devvin Peterson Federal Signal I-strobe
the 4251 is a conventional pull station and the 2099 was addressable.
what happened to the sound at 03:39?
it was probably a privacy mute...
3:39
Why didn't the system re alarm when you activated the bng1r?
Silenced
Can you do a walk test in System Test 28?
Why would u put sandwich on the ZRS
Hey NewAgeServerAlarm The Sound Of The Simplex 9806B2 Is What I Programmed My Phone's Ringtone To Be For When My Phone Ring's!
yay your alarm from system test 17 is back.
your not alone, i hate continuous horns :S my first school had alarms that looked like the first one you showed in basement, not by the woodshop... and some pull stations i forgot what they were...
Can you put up your elementary school alarms up on your website?
How loud was that FOS 6120 in the living room? Also is that 4051 loud
2:48 the pitch changed
2:53 you can kind of hear the 4051
Before our school changed to specr alerts in 2011, our system was scary! It had 4040 4041 4050 4051 and more on continous
did the sytem had a smoke dedector
My dentist has gentex commander 3's and commander 2's set on continuis
that will be loud
what happens to the light when you put it on silence
He's talking about the volume screw.
The simplex in your room is from the video simplex with red light bulb
Why didn't you show the alarm's (except your room)
I’m sonic, is it the hegehog
I have two of those 9806 alarms and light plates.
Why didn't the system go off when you pulled the BNG-1R?
It is kind of improper to see a wheel lock something remote strobe on top of a mechanical horn sounding horn it's just sounds a little improper or looks a little improper but is still cool weird cool 😀👍👍👍👍
7-12th grade is in the high school building for us
Can deodorant set off the smoke detectors which causes the fire alarm to go off?
The BG-8 didn't work
same alarms from system test 17 but few changes
The camera is not picking up the strobe flash.
all cameras do that
Did you adjust the pitch on that Faraday/FOS 6120 or it sounds like that? It sounds epic
the same simplex system my high school has!!
Was that a spectralert advance next to one of the spectralerts?
Coincidence this was made during Obama's inauguration!!
My elementry school has a wheelock ns set to 150 candela high volume code 3. Got the classic horn for that alarm.
My school has an IBM Coded panel with Single-Strokes Bells it was updated with a Simplex 4005 tied on the IBM panel the old pull-rods are still in place the 4005 and the IBM panel will be removed soon
***** if you are in Philly it might be the same or in San Francisco.

At 3:08 it sounded like the integrity but it was your 4051. Did you use the horn from the edwards integrity?
No. Its a 4051
your alarms its supeeeer!!!!!!!!!!!
The 9806 kinda sounds evil on continuous...
So as the miz
Who even said that panel was simplex
Between system test 10-20 you keep messing up the intro because you liked intro effects from the other videos so you decided to mess you intro from system test 3 and 24
