- This DBZ Game is dead. Or at least thats what I've heard from some of the people still playing Dragonball: The Breakers! Seeing as im still a fan of the game I decided to jump into the game and see what its really looking like online!

I actually really like this game I just think they need to be more consistent with the dlc drops and maybe give us something like a goku black raider dlc to really pop off!

*REMINDER DOTO:*
Using a Senzu Bean makes the next knockdown an insta-kill. Only use it to quickly revive teammates _or_ on yourself once the raider has left. I see a lot of people use it in front of the raider, and it only results in them immediately getting sent out of the game.
Indeed, it's a easy rookie mistake to make, even for those of us playing since day 1
On the upside they raised the amount of time it takes holding the button down to use the Senzu on yourself. Before this I would die and then press the senzu button without meaning too but because it's so fast I couldn't react in time to let go of the button and then I'd get up and the Raider would kill me again.
On the downside you can't use the senzu after the Raider absorb/does a finishing attack after he downs you, so the only way for you to get away with using it on yourself is if the Raider is distracted or if he outright forgets about you.
@@nicholas2153 True, it's a good habit to drop the beans you have on you and then call for help rather then trying to somehow outspeed most raiders whom aren't afraid to wait for you to revive.
It's also a good method to re-enter the que quickly for raider priority increase.
If I would do it, it would be for more raider points to be raider next round

Breakers is so fun to watch ! I never got to play it and i dont think ill ever get to with the player base now below 200 :(

I really want this game to do well since I really love the idea and different gameplay style it has to other dragon ball games where it really gives you the perspective of all the aliens on planets that would have been trying to escape the Saiyan invasion.
Yeah it's a neat new way of playing Dragon Ball. I hope it stays afloat.
@pabs8897 It does look and play with some jank, it also doesn't help that about 95% of the game's assets are just from xenoverse 2, giving it almost a lazy kind of feel, but hopefully that means the game can begin to get more updates more frequently.
Live service games have been having a tough time recently. People are tired from playing unfinished unpolished games with meagre amounts of content on release that gets repetitive really quick, with the promise of improving months later. Then the game dies because that's a horrible way to retain a fanbase.
This game would have benefitted alot from different game modes or maps that feel dramatically different from one another, monetizing it as a f2p (gacha, microtransactions and battle pass) and it not being free and no cross plat were other big misses
@@khaledm.1476 The main big miss is being live service while ignoring feedback from the community. Crossplay, game going f2p, raider buff being OP, recent queue change being bad, are all ignored. After season 2 dropped recent reviews on steam went from mixed to nearly "Overwhelmingly Negative" because of the queue changes. What did the devs do? Nothing, I highly doubt they look at game reviews for feedback. I don't think any review on steam EVER got a reply from a The Breakers developer.

14:50 When I hear it described as "cartoonish" I'm betting it's the Raider auto-counter
My best advice for anybody in this game is to never fight a Raider with a higher level than you, they do this big block-into-kick animation and will ALWAYS deflect your attacks and make you suffer
This is good advice if your against them solo, but if your level 2 and the raider is a higher level but is getting melee combo’d by someone of the same or higher then you can join in for a bit more damage which can be really useful specially against Vegeta since his health is so low.
@@ThroneOfSalt In this situation I'd suggest using Super attacks instead, if you fail to link it with somebody else then you get countered and your pal gets hit too and the Raider is already being locked in place so it's a good time to take the chance

I think this game is pretty good for DB fans who want something a bit different. Wish they didnt overtune so many of the survivor gacha skills though. Let everything be excellent!

The game gets repetitive real quick because there's no other game modes or events, the maps don't really feel different from one another, it's monetized like f2p game (gacha, microtransactions and battle pass) and yet isn't free and lacks industry staples like proximity chat or cross plat.
Ultimately a very disappointing game
@@khaledm.1476 you refuses to mention that the battle pass is free, that the Zenny isnt even that hard to get and the Devs give it away a constantly. The maps do not feel the same are you mad? They are so different from one another.
And it's like asking to add more game modes to games like Dead By Daylight or Friday the 13th for no reason. It's a game of a killer vs survivors. What else do you want them to add? You have xenoverse and it's overpriced DLC just around the corner if you want another fighting game.

1) Monetisation: The battlepass is free but is a major grind to go through and they lock exclusive skins like the new king furry (or before farmer with a shotgun) or you can purchase the tiers straight way. So they create the problem to sell you the solution
2) Map variety: The maps are merely stitched up blocks of other maps parts they made. So you have a namek area with a random human city nearby. It doesn't feel as impactful as having only namek, only hell, only the city and have environmental differences for each one.
For example namek might have plants that you give a boost, guru to buff your energy, porunga instead of shenron. Earth might have kame house, world tournament stage, you can talk to kami and go into the hyperbolic time chamber to train really quick. Hell might have other dangers than just the raider and you might get invaded by janemba who'll beat up both the raiders and the survivors if they got close
3) Game mode variety: It's not that hard to add different game modes or conditions which doto showed a few weeks back. For example disabling jump, raider is blind but can hear extra well and has predator vision or various easy conditions.
Or add dedicated modes that change up the game for example hero vs minions. Have teen gohan vs cell jr or goku vs saibamen and the minions have to either to kill more than half the civilians, kill the hero or use the super time machine to erase the hero (or just change it to a nuke or whatever)
P.S It's sad to see you conditioned for you to accept mediocrity and to simp for corporations like this

@@khaledm.1476 1. It's not a grind. Ypu get 3 months to complete the pass at your own pace. I finished the last pass and didnt pay a dime. If you want to pay its up to you, but no one that actually enjoys playing the game would.
2. Oh so we get the lamest maps ever. Earth is the only cool one. Hell would be a convoluted mess then and sounds more annoying to play than anything. Not only that but your idea just removes Janemba as a possible raider. Heaven is just a green planet with nothing on it and namek is the same but with some houses spread around. Porunga would just be a skin for Shenron and functionally the same.
3. I mean, fine. Those game modes may be good, but the game literally just released. Hasnt even been a year since it released. Also those game modes that you mentioned is basically asking the devs to stop working on raiders, survivors and balance to add a game mode that most likely would just divide the player base even more.
The game is fun. I have not been conditiones to anything. If anything, hating the game for no reason is the popular opinion. They sold me a 20USD game that promised a 7v1 gameplay based match, and I got that. They can only go up from here
That’s what gets me about the Senzu Bean is that it basically makes a second revive pointless if it gets you wiped the second time after.
It's better for getting other people up. Or if you can crawl away when the raider is distracted

You CAN revive safely with it if you have right kit.
Barrier + instant transmission = safe revives every time.

Strangely enough the lack of shoes makes your character go from looking like they're about to go for a walk to a Street Fighter character.
This is incredibly funny and it helped me find a Dragon Ball game I've never heard of, I'm subscribing.

Ignoring that other guy, they do add costumes each update (not season). Just recently the added whis costume and bardocks is a (free) battle pass reward. Most of the time they consistently add more options regularly.

Dead by daylight is the main game like this. It’s just not very dragon ball centric like this game.
dead by daylight, predator: hunting grounds. the genre is mostly under "Asymmetric multiplayer" if you want to look fo rmore.

With how they did vegeta that makes me believe we could maybe get cooler somehow with nappa being able to become vegeta after losing we could get a cooler to metal cooler maybe like that too
Just randomly came up with a raid idea for Janemba.
The raid would be themed around the demons/devils. The map would have 2 stages, one before janemba corruption and then one after. There would be 3 small "soul collection stations" around the map, with 1 large "soul cleansing machine" in the north.
Stage 1: Would be (spike the devilman) in which the raider would go around killing survivors and npcs for energy like normal. Once (spike the devilman) reaches max energy, (Dabura) will appear, killing him.
Stage 2: The raider, now (Dabura) would no longer gain energy through killing players and npcs, instead have the objective of destroying the 3 "soul collection station". Once all 3 are destroyed the raider, (Dabura) would be retired for the match. As a cutscene plays showing a meltdown at the "soul cleansing machine" for all players and the corruption of the orge kid turning him into (Fat Janemba).
Skills: Same health pool as second form cell. Stone spit move, in which he spit 3 projectiles out in a burst, stunning the survivors for 8 seconds. Flame breath sweep move for short/mid range. A normal burst move for defense. Ki sense.
Map changes: crystal beans will appear all over the map. If the super-time machine is present, a large crystal bean will incase it, preventing it from being worked on by survivors or passively gaining progress. This crystal can be broken by survivors for half the time it would take to charge the super-time machine.
Stage 3: The raider, now (Fat Janemba) would start at the north, the "soul cleansing machine". (Fat Janemba) would slowly gain energy, and after 5 minutes would transform in (super Janemba).
The raider can shorten this time by executing survivors or npc. 30 seconds per survivor and 10 for npc. Unlike other raiders (Fat Janemba) execution can not eliminate players.
Skills: (Fat Janemba) would be immune to all damage but still takes fair knockback for flurry melee attacks and slight hits stun for large ki blast attack. The raider would be unable to fly and be pretty slow when walking, but would have great jump distance and a roll attack for movement. A teleporting punch move for mid range and a rapid fire cannon move from its belly holes for long/mid. Ki sense.
4 stage: The raider now (Super Janemba) can once again fly. Have perfect cell levels of health. And once again be able to eliminate survivors.
Skills: (Super Janemba) would be able to teleport long distances sometimes like using the survivors grappling hook, 2 times in a row. Flying sword slashes for his standard ki blast. His ultimate for fighterz, "needle light shower". Some portal strikes. A powerful upward sword slash for an ultimate.

It's a sonic song. I think it's one of the vs Eggman battle themes like the later ones. If you're referring to the song for when vegeta turns into a great ape
So annoying man... I bought the game for my birthday and you need an online multiplyer so you also have to buy either the live gold or ultimate or normal gamepass but i just dont have enough#(
