📖 Sonic Classic Heroes is a ROM hack that is the result of a collaboration between flamewing and ColinC10, combining their respective hacks Sonic 2 Heroes and Sonic the Hedgehog 1 and 2. It therefore is a single ROM that offers the entire campaigns of Sonic the Hedgehog and Sonic the Hedgehog 2, either alone or together; and enables the player to play as many characters such as Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles. The hack is named due to the ability to control a team of characters, which is reminiscent of the more recent 3D game Sonic Heroes.

I think Team Sonic and Team Chaotix figured out Dr. Robotnik’s one weakness: teamwork.
Vector listening to music is just free meme potential and I love it.
Imagine playing some NPR in the background while Vector's dancing to the chaos, LOL

I normally keep my pizza simple, pepperoni or cheese.
It is quite awesome that they actually are linking the games with small cutscenes, they may be better than Sonic Origins' traditionally animated cutscenes. I really like sprite animated / in-engine cutscenes (In-engine simply because you can mess with them). This Hack is awesome and I really want to see Super-forms in this game if they did include them for everyone (At least something like Mania did, just make the characters flash or something).
I also think that Vector turned out best here, his animations are great (Just that probably it feels weird to play with such a relatively tall character) I like a lot Charmy's idle sprite though. Overall, I'm really enjoying this ROM Hack and would like to see more of it.
I like Labrinth phone because I like doing in the water
I got to say, whoever did the animations for the character models, especially Vector, did a fantastic job.
Great video as always, I hope you continue this romhack.
If this rom hack has it, it would be awesome to see Team Dark or Team Rose.
If not, I vote for team Chaotix over team Sonic.

I definitely think you should continue to use team chaotix for episode 3 because it’s different and Sonic is in most of the other Sonic rom hacks you’ve played on your channel and this is a nice change up to that.

Hey, just a reminder. There's a new 2022 updated version of Classic Heroes with a new menu and gameplay tweaks. Get the new version and it's now the definitive way to play Classic Heroes.

Hey Darby, hope you're having awesome day! If you want I would like to see you try out some Sonic fan games. A good starting point would be LakeFeperd's Sonic Before the Sequel and Sonic After the Sequel. There are a few different versions of these games so for Before the Sequel you should try the Sonic Before the Sequel: Plus version of the game, and for After the Sequel, Sonic After the Sequel: DX is your best bet. But if you want harder and bosses for After the Sequel, then Sonic After the Sequel: Omega is better for that. It also has wide-screen support so that's a neat bonus. Also I like the original pepperoni on my pizza, and Espio is my favourite of the Chaotix. Fun fact: Knuckles and Mighty used to be in the Chaotix, as seen in Knuckles' Chaotix (Or just Chaotix in japan) which is where the moveset came from for this ROM hack, and the sprites are faithful conversions from 32 bit to 16 bit. I really like the Chaotix team from the Knuckles Chaotix game. One of my favorite characters is Charmy Because he can fly everywhere and never get tired like does sometimes. My second favorite character is Vector he can dash through the air and climb up walls which is always fun to do. My third favorite character is Espio he can walk on walls and sometimes even on the ceiling. My fourth favorite character is Mighty which is only in Knuckles Chaotix and a little bit in Sonic mania. In Knuckles Chaotix what was cool about him is that he can jump-kick on the walls multiple times and he is just a really cool character. However, I do not like Heavy and Bomb they are kinda slow and don't jump as high as the rest of the Chaotix team.

That's actually pretty cool. The rom hack is based off Sonic Heroes yet they use actual sprites from Knuckles Chaotix.
Pepperoni is my favorite pizza topping, btw.

You should play the game more because it is fun because I played it before.
Also I had this theory that the background music is actually the music that vector is listening to.
Charmy's super firm basically turns the Game into the torture scene from the wicker man because you get 8 auto attacking buddies.
Also playing charmy alone makes all the freed animals more charmies

I'd love to see more! And maybe you could try the Chaotix mode with any team. This means all characters are kinda pulled to eachother with these special links. Then again, it's really annoying (I couldn't clear Labyrinth Act 3 with this mode) so maybe not...
Also, i'm kinda basic with pizza toppings. Plain cheese ftw!

From the 2nd team 100% loving Espio, they are just super coolio IMO. For the normal team, 100% Knuckles I have loved him since he was first shown, especially being that I never had a genesis, but at my friends house they had Sonic & Knuckles and I loved putting him into Sonic 2. For the next episode I'm good either way, play which ever team is more fun for you.

1:50 I like Labyrinth Zone’s music on the Game Gear/Master System. I’d recommend listening to the track when you get a chance. It’s so good!
So basically Charmy is basically the savior we never knew we needed in a 2D Sonic game. I wonder what convinced the original maker of the ROM hack to make Charmy Bee able to cheese Sonic Classic Heroes with ease.
The Chaotix members play exactly the same as they do in Knuckles' Chaotix, other than the fact that they're not tethered together.
@@MathematicalVoid Charmy being tetherred was pretty much what held him back in that game.
Hey there Darby if you haven't known, the Sol Emeralds are from Sonic Rush and they are for Blaze but in this, they help you with the hyper mode, if I can remember

Espio has been my favorite since sonic heroes. You should play sonic heroes and try to play as all the teams
Also, I have a very big imagination for superheroes,and plenty of them are winged. ALL OF THEM prefer flying to walking when in winged form.
I like my pizza just meaty, but whenever my family has pork 'n beans on the side, I put them on top. It's pretty good imo.

You can turn into hyper in this game by collecting all chaos emeralds and sol emeralds
You should do the Chaotix again because they are not people we have seen as much as the main cast.
I favorite topping on pizza are chicken and pepperoni, you should definitely continue this series and I can wait for you to get all the emeralds. I think you should play as team chaotics again and vector is my favorite character out of the three in team chaotics
