  • A newly acquired climber that's sprawling across the floor. Cutting a thin tall Black Bamboo cane from the garden for the purpose of giving it some support to climb on. A few clips and bits of nylon stocking and it's done.
Repotting straight after this video and watered in... it'll be much happier now and one less thing to trip over with my sore knee most likely to suffer. Thanks but No thanks !

That looks more like a Rhaphidophora decursiva than a epipremnum pinnatum! I think they have very similar structure but the raph has shinier leaves and wider fenestrations. Love your videos thank for posting.

      Thank you.
I'll go online to try and double check, but I'm just going by the hand written label that was on it at this stage when it was given to me. Are there any other distinctions that I can look for?
I'm definitely not a Botanist and I could label myself an enthusiast at best and a bungling gardener on an average day.
That's why I frequently mention that a technique is simply a way of doing something and NOT the Only way.
      Cheers

Pinnatum will have pinhole secondary fenestrations down the the center when mature the raph will not! Also a slight diffrence in fenestration shape pinnatum is longer and skinnier! They are both called a dragons tail so the mix up is very common!

@@katrinabrummer6728 ... thank you for that help in clarification. Because the plant is young, I'm assuming that I'll have to wait a while for more mature leaves.
Yes, there does seem to be a bit of confusion and generic names certainly don't help.
      Cheers
