Also, I’m with you on slowing down 😅. Our kiddos are 13, 10, 7 and nearly 4. Time is truly a thief; however I am trying to remind myself to enjoy each stage, rather than looking back. It’s hard though, I miss the snuggles 🙈.

Yes we are a family of 6but almost 7, we go weekly grocery shopping. I always wipe down the refrigerator, routine anything that is still good, toss anything that's needs too. Wipe down and organize the refrigerator. I also do the pantry and the freezer as well.

I like your idea of buying the chicken in bulk then making three zip loc bags. One with pasta sauce, one with salsa for tacos and one with bbq for sliders. Genius.

I have been retired for eight years, although I still substitute teach. I have never figured out how to slow down. I feel like I can never slow down because I always had to move so fast to get everything accomplished. Good luck figuring out how to slow down!

Random question, did you notice a difference in your energy levels after you started taking thyroid medication? If so, how long did it take? I just found out I have hypo and just started meds. You're the only one I "know" 😅 who takes meds for it so thought I'd ask.

We just recently had to buy a new fridge, as the 7 year old one pooped out. Didn’t notice it and over 400.00 worth of freezer food was tossed. Anyway, we bought a side by side to try and I hated it. Felt like I was reaching into a tunnel. As it turned out, that fridge was a lemon. The freezer never froze. So, we bought another one with the French doors and freezer on the bottom like we had before. It’s almost a week old now and it seems to be working. Knock on wood. We obviously returned the other one to get our money back
