the Micron PSA should truly be heard by EVERYONE. I made the mistake of only carrying Microns with me for a brief time at work, because I loved them so much. people borrowed them without asking and very quickly all but one was mushed flat and unusable. now no one touches my Microns unless they agree to write right with them!!
Many years ago my husband learned that I would divorce him if he touched my micron ever again without proper restraint. It was a loud lesson, but he knows how to check a min before he bears down now!
really enjoying this fairly recent, more loose approach in presentation! it makes the video more light-hearted while still maintaining a level of professionalism and the speakers/presenters still talk very clearly 😊 i feel like i'm having more fun hearing them have fun too so this is such a good improvement! 💖
The jetstream is the one ballpoint pen that always makes people comment "Ooh, that's a nice writer" when they borrow one, even if they normally pay zero attention to pens
lol I like to sneak easyflow9000's into people's pens at work and watch them quietly flip out as they stare at it wondering why their pen has spontaneously evolved
I watch a lot of bullet journal videos by people who are, understandably, big fans of the “SaKYURRuh” Pigma Micron. I’m only a quarter Japanese, but can I just say, it is some serious stress relief to watch y’all’s videos and hear Sakura pronounced correctly. Seriously, makes me unreasonably happy. Thank you 🙏
Guys I can't with these videos, this is some high quality marketing, she's so funny and charismatic! The thing is I live in the Nordics and I'm super anxious ordering anything overseas. There's so much I can't get from here that you absolute geniuses have made me straight up long for!
And the Preppy can be used as an ink-dropper…meaning the entire barrel can be filled with ink. You just need a tiny O ring and a bit of silicone grease. Holds a lot of ink that way. It’s my favorite pen to use drawing on location (Urban Sketching). If I drop it and damage it or I loose it, I’m not out a lot of money.
I recently received my giant (first) order from JetPens which included all 24 colors of the Pentel Fude Touch brush pens. Definitely an upgrade from my 10 pack of Tombow Fudenosuke pens! I immediately had to swatch them all and I love them very much 💖 The greens are GORGOUS💚💚💚
If someone had told me before I found JetPens that I would not only watch, but REwatch a video about pens, in order to watch it a second time with captions so I could see what the captions said... I'd be like nahhh. But hey Josh! Also, Antonia did a fantastic job on this. Smashed the Micron PSA (see what I did there?).
I absolutely love these videos so much - they're like my happy place to just binge watch them and hear you talk about stationery! Also thank you so much for the closed captioning! As someone who is hard of hearing, I appreciate all creators who take the time to add in their own written captions that are accurate to their videos :)
I’ve converted my mum to the pentel energel pen. She borrowed mine and was like “what is this?!” OMG 0.15 tip, that’s tiny! The preppy sounds amazing. I used to own the uniball signo but they used to clog really badly, are they better now?
I prefer fountain pens to gel pens. A good fountain pen can actually be more reliable, and you can use really secure ink like Noodler's Bulletproof for important documents. I find a Japanese extra fine pen to be a must-have, since the finer the pen, the less likely it is for there to be feathering and bleed-through. I find the Pilot Penmanship to be far superior to the similarly priced Preppy. It's much more durable and reliable.
They are better imo, and do not clog, but with uniball signo 207 and 307, they smear for me! The Zebra Sarasa in 0.7 or 1.0 tip or Sarasa X20 dry ---now that's where it's at! No smearing ever and I'm right handed, and basically I'm just really picky about my gel pens!
Last year I went on a binge watch of a ton of your videos just to get the perfect stationary before going into year 9 (UK school) and now I'm doing it again for when I go into year 10!
No y'all because the Uni-ball Signo was my go-to pen before I switched to Faber Castle ball-point pens in college. Guys, those babies write like waterrr, so smooth, my handwriting has never looked as good as when it did with them 🤧✋
The Platinum Preppy can also be converted to an eyedropper fountain pen with an o-ring and some silicone grease. It holds SOOOOOmuch ink that way; perfect for a full day of intensive note writing
I’m a lefty.. and finding stationary that doesn’t smudge or just finding stationary I can use in general, is so difficult so that first pen made me so happy when you said it dried quickly 😭 scissors are a tough one for sure for me and ring notebooks don’t even get me started 💀
Delightful as ever! And hi, Josh, I was actually thinking as I was watching the video that I'm always impressed with how well y'all clean up the captions on your videos. (I do it for work sometimes.)
Don't feel bad, Antonia. I would have the entire collection of Preppy in 0.2 if I could. I still regret having bought only one. Can't wait to fix that mistake
My favorite pencils: For writing: Uni Kuru Toga Standard - I can deal with lead breakage for a more comfortable writing session. For fine work (Drawing, graphing, etc) Zebra Delguard - I don't want to deal with my lead breaking during these activities, as it disrupts my flow. Loaning to friends: Those crappy ¢20 bic pencils you can get at Walmart
I love Mildliners. I bought my first set of five a couple months ago, and so far they have been great. The colors are not obtrusively bright and the dual-tip feature is great because I use them as both highlighters and colored markers. I definitely plan on buying more in the future, they are wonderful.
Yay for Coletos! In school, I gave up on the BIC multipens after 2 cracked on me in the same spot: vertical crack on the bottom half of the barrel so that it was too loose to fully keep screwed in. Ink is sticky too and often leaks after a few months. After watching your videos on multipens, I decided on the Coletos bc they have cute barrel options, the ink is good, but most importantly, show the color at the top (guessing the color on same-colored tabs each time is ridiculous). The 0.3 mm size is my favorite as the smaller tip uses less ink as your write (downside of low-viscosity inks) and I like the fine-ness for correcting typed, single-spaced reports (no double-spacing in the work world) and for small writing in planners. I have a 3-color and a 4-color barrel. Neither have cracked on me in over 2 years.
My favorite out of this list that I currently have is the Milti-pen Pilot Hi-Tec-C Coleto. Versatile as mentioned as I own a navy blue body with 2 different shade of blue ink, a black ink, a mechanical pencil and eraser. I've been very happy about the quality so far and I intend to get more.
I would love to know where the desk organization items are from that you have in your videos. Especially the white monitor stand/shelf, but also all the drawers and pen cups, etc.
I love the Sakura Pigma Micron Pens in the 0.25 size for doing string art style drawings, and the fact that the colors don't bleed into each other is a great bonus. For a gel pen I prefer the Pilot Precise V5 RT in the Extra Fine point. I do like the idea of the Pilot Hi-Tec-C Coleto multi-pen with that wide range of colors to choose from. I would use a two component body for a mechanical pencil and eraser combo and a five component for colored note taking.
I own some items mentioned here and I can tell you they ROCK! The Kokuyo binder notebook is wonderful, and while I made the grave mistake of buying the standard one first instead of the Smart Ring 60 (which can hold more pages) and the wrong type of loose leaf, the experience was miles ahead of what I was used to. Everything just GLIDES on the paper, and it's slim so you can just pick how many pages you need for that extra millimeter of space. The Signo DX .28 is a charm to write with, not that scratchy vs needle tips like the Hi-Tec C, and the fact that you can buy just the refill is excellent! Just wished that the body was less... that. Almost lost the cap soooo many times. The Coleto 5 barrel is your friend in color-coding, not recommended for long writes as the ink runs out faster than a blink of an eye. It's definitely more fun than the Uni Style Fit as the designs are on the tabs, while the latter is more understated in its designs. The Mildliners are aesthetic lifesavers. These are however notorious for smudging out all but printer ink and ballpoint, so keep that in mind. I still love them, though. Had (and still have) 1.0 sized cheapo Jetstreams, and despite hating the large tip size due to my handwriting being influenced by thin G-Tec C3's, they write so good. They just glide and don't have that ballpoint scratch feel to it like the ones I usually carry as a borrow pen. And now just bought a Jetstream Edge upon realizing it can get THAT small. Can't wait to test it out!
Micron pens are my favourite fine liners. The one I love is the 08 which is a 0.5 nib. My favourite gel, pens are the gelly roll gel pens. I used to have uni roll as a kid but as an adult I love gelly roll. Zebra mildliners are DEFINITELY the best highlights. Hands down. Wish I had them when I was a teen. I also have some papermate flare & inkjoy pens + some Lyra salt tip pens.
They are good pens. I have 2 multi-ones. I like them for their barrel options, their ink, and that the tabs show the color (I don't think any other ones do, or they have limited colors if they do). JetPens also has vids just on multipens and the Coletos. Only downside is if you will use the ink a lot and the multipen form isn't necessary, the single-color, single use pens have a lot more ink.
One of my favorite videos yet, love the new style! Even my six year old son loves watching these with me, you guys; you have officially made it as RUclipsrs, gg
I recently got Mnemosyne notebooks on a Jetpens rec, and haven't looked back. In combination with Kuru Toga pencils and Energel pens, it's been a fantastic writing experience. I'm a huge fan of the dot grid style, since I have to alternate between note taking and sketching quite a bit, and I'm glad they offer it!
I'm a fountain pen lover. And I just opened my first "standard" Jetstream yesterday (having come from the 0.28mm Edge which is so insanely fine that you lose a lot of the smoothness). Yeah, it's worth the hype. Bonus points that I got the Alphagel version so I also get that soft squishy grip. - Ninja edit: Can agree with both notebooks. Recently got my first Kokuyo Campus, and have been a Maruman Mnemosyne addict for a little while. I wish you guys would carry the Rotring Quattro. This is a fairly obscure offering from the company, I don't even see it on their main website. It's a nice high quality 4-in-1, featuring red, blue, and black ballpoints (D1 reloads) and a 0.5mm mechanical pencil unit. It also has one of the neatest multi-pen "selection" mechanisms I've probably ever seen. You physically rotate the pen so one of the marks on the pen's barrel is facing upwards, then press the button to extend the indicated tip! Lift the shirt clip to retract it.
I would love to know where you purchased the white desk riser featured in this video. Also I love jet pens! I have a massive collection of pens and love shopping at jet pens for the latest additions to my collection! Much love ❤️
Yeah, I kept going, "yup, got that. Got that, too. And that..." 😆 Can you do a Korean brands version? I don't have many Korean brands and would only buy from your recommendations 😁
Pilot acroball retractable ballpens are reliable, tombow mono erasers and tombow mono graph pencils (fure) are also good, I have these items with me at work. For journaling, I use zebra zarasa gel pens (love the vintage colors) and my pilot prera fountain pen 🙂
I love the way she narrated this vídeo, definitely the basic, but I rather the like the Kokuyo pastel Beetle Tip than the Zebra mildliner, because the ink doesn’t show through the paper.
As far as I know Zebra DelGuard works as it was supposed only with default Diamond leads - other normal leads were broken regularily, while in simple GG 500 they didn't
As for things to add, how about the regular A4/B5 plastic paper holders? I don't know if your store offers them. They are like 10 for ¥100 at the ¥100 store, tho of course you can buy more expensive ones. These simple folders are so much nicer than the typical pocket folders in the States.
I miss my uni jetstream.. 🥺.. I still remember how I lost it, it's because some people borrowed it, I trusted them because they're professional people (idk what is professional anymore).. No, I never lend any of my uniball pen to anyone again...
Great Videos, Jet!. I REALLY REALLY recommend Platinum Preppy, Uni Jetstream, Maruman Mnemosyne Notebooks, Zebra Mildliner. But one question............ Why do you LOVE Stationary?
Psa I used to love the preppy fountain pens as an edc fountain pen it was cheap enough to not stress about maybe losing or breaking but the caps and tips are just far too fragile... the pilot plumix is far more durable and at a similar price point though it doesn't have a clip if that's important to you...
We love showing you new products, but sometimes all you need are the essentials. Did we miss any of your basics? Let us know in the comments!
Ok
Sure
You forgot a pencil pouch to carey it all in! 😁
Pentel energel
I personally like the Pilot Juice Up and Pilot Acro 300 & 1000 myself
the Micron PSA should truly be heard by EVERYONE. I made the mistake of only carrying Microns with me for a brief time at work, because I loved them so much. people borrowed them without asking and very quickly all but one was mushed flat and unusable. now no one touches my Microns unless they agree to write right with them!!

It was a loud lesson, but he knows how to check a min before he bears down now!
YOUR MICRONS 𝗟𝗢𝗩𝗘 YOUR SWEET & GENTLE TOUCH!!! It’s one of THE MOST V̫I̫T̫A̫L̫ Components in making your Relationship Last!!!
I felt this spiritually
I make it clear from the start that people will know better than to touch my pens lol
You should always protect your pens. Imagine if it was a $100+ fountain pen that was abused.
love the new editing, i’m glad you guys added humor into this because it makes the video more enjoyable!!!
really enjoying this fairly recent, more loose approach in presentation! it makes the video more light-hearted while still maintaining a level of professionalism and the speakers/presenters still talk very clearly 😊 i feel like i'm having more fun hearing them have fun too so this is such a good improvement! 💖
The jetpens videos were already so pleasant and lovely but hearing more casual personality from your team is a nice choice. Keep up the good work!
Uni Jetstream is the reason that I returned to ballpoints.
I noticed the same with the Zebra pen! Highly recommend
Does it write as smooth as gel? I don’t like how most ballpoints you have to press really hard to get ink to flow
I just love hearing someone geek out over stationary as much as I do.
Thank you 🙏
Shout out to Josh, the closed captioning guy. Fine work, my man. Chef's kiss on the [forced chuckle] description.
I’m loving the personal touch and humor you are adding to your videos while still keeping it professional!!!
Guys I can't with these videos, this is some high quality marketing, she's so funny and charismatic! The thing is I live in the Nordics and I'm super anxious ordering anything overseas. There's so much I can't get from here that you absolute geniuses have made me straight up long for!

I’ve converted my mum to the pentel energel pen. She borrowed mine and was like “what is this?!”
OMG 0.15 tip, that’s tiny! The preppy sounds amazing.
I used to own the uniball signo but they used to clog really badly, are they better now?
I find the white uniball signo clog all the damn time but other colours are better? I haven't bought any new ones in a long time so ymmv
The .38 signo dx has been my main gel pen for years now. Ive had great luck with em.
I prefer fountain pens to gel pens. A good fountain pen can actually be more reliable, and you can use really secure ink like Noodler's Bulletproof for important documents.

So, how far any of you able to drain your DX refill? Most of mine is dead when there's 0.5cm ink left...

I like how you go off topic for a few seconds every few minutes it adds character to the video ❤️
No y'all because the Uni-ball Signo was my go-to pen before I switched to Faber Castle ball-point pens in college. Guys, those babies write like waterrr, so smooth, my handwriting has never looked as good as when it did with them 🤧✋
Tripen / K7 /Vernate? They have some collections of ballpoints.
The Platinum Preppy can also be converted to an eyedropper fountain pen with an o-ring and some silicone grease. It holds SOOOOOmuch ink that way; perfect for a full day of intensive note writing
Antonia's pun and laugh at 3:29 hahaha 😂 I love your new editing style!!
All Sakura Products are ABSOLUTELY THE BEST!
They're also very affordable for beginner artists
I’m a lefty.. and finding stationary that doesn’t smudge or just finding stationary I can use in general, is so difficult so that first pen made me so happy when you said it dried quickly 😭 scissors are a tough one for sure for me and ring notebooks don’t even get me started 💀
Hi Josh! Thanks for all your hard work on the captions!
Delightful as ever! And hi, Josh, I was actually thinking as I was watching the video that I'm always impressed with how well y'all clean up the captions on your videos. (I do it for work sometimes.)
REALLY LOVE THIS VIDEO 😭❤️
STANDING IN THE MAIL LINE WHERE IM GETTING MY LEAD HOLDER AND STATIONARY ORGANIZER! Perfect video to figure out how to fill the rest of the spaces 😍💖
Yes! We want more. Thank you for returning to JetPens RUclips channel. I missed your voice! 💕
Don't feel bad, Antonia. I would have the entire collection of Preppy in 0.2 if I could.

Yay, loving the personal anecdotes! :D
Also, hi Josh~! Great job on the captions! \o/
I literally didn't pay attention to any of those but her voice 😂😭your voice is soothing 🤦🏻♀️
A good eraser like a Matomaru-kun is also a must-have, I think!
i never loved a jetpens video so mutch it was so funny and i hope they make more of these becous it is so mutch interesing
Yay my favorite jet pens person made another video!!!! Make more!
I just realized… I have one of almost everything on this list, and I love each and everyone of my stationary supplies
zebra midliners r the best thing that can happen to a student or someone who likes decorating their pages!!
I fell in love with this channel
I love the microns so much I have used them for years and I won’t stop using them ever!!!!!!!
Thanks, for the CC, Josh! Do you do all of them, or just this video’s?
I love Mildliners. I bought my first set of five a couple months ago, and so far they have been great. OMG😫💝💝💝💝💝💝💝 I FALL LIT INLOVE WITH ALL THE PRODUCTS.
Great job on the vid! I always look forward to Tuesdays! 💖
Okay but josh's message at the end in the captions!😄sakura microns! They have plastic nib and graphic nibs too!!
I would love to know where the desk organization items are from that you have in your videos. Especially the white monitor stand/shelf, but also all the drawers and pen cups, etc.

I do like the idea of the Pilot Hi-Tec-C Coleto multi-pen with that wide range of colors to choose from. I would use a two component body for a mechanical pencil and eraser combo and a five component for colored note taking.
I own some items mentioned here and I can tell you they ROCK! I also have some papermate flare & inkjoy pens + some Lyra salt tip pens.
whatever font you used in the intro is ADORABLE
That multi pen though😍😍😍🤤
0:48 perfect of a left handed like me!
I'm a huge zebra brand fan 😂 that's a brand I feel secure buying no matter what kind it is. A definite go to for me!
Woah, that set of Sakura Micron was my first ever inking set when I was younger!
Your fantastic, happy voice brightens my day!
I love JetPens anyway, but you all that make the videos are just too cute!!
I have been eyeing the coleto but I think this video has officially convinced me!
They are good pens. I have 2 multi-ones. I like them for their barrel options, their ink, and that the tabs show the color (I don't think any other ones do, or they have limited colors if they do). i love all of ur video and every thing u show is just amazing I buy it and I love It thanx allot we love u
So many (too many) AWESOME CHOICES!! Want…NEED them ALL!
Really all beautiful >>>>>>>>> Thanks
I think it should also be noted that the Kokuyo Campus paper is amazing for fountain pens as well.
Goin back to school in spring (Masters) and I’m watching all your videos and making my Christmas list. This year all I want is stationary 😈
I just hoarded my local stationery store of Pentel Energel refills 😍 (I mean they were selling it for 1$ [canadian])
One of my favorite videos yet, love the new style! Even my six year old son loves watching these with me, you guys; you have officially made it as RUclipsrs, gg
Love your videos!! They’re so much fun!! Can you do one on the best fine liners or whatever writing utensil that works well with stencils?
We have two videos on fineliners here you might enjoy: ruclips.net/video/yxbirUx02z0/видео.html

@@JetPens fantastic! Thank you! I will check it out after I finish watching this video :)
Need a correction tape on that list and a good eraser!

Grab up the Preppy Limited Edition Wa- those will be great additions to your emerging collection.
Just got the Sakura one. That is a sweet nib!👍
Great choices!! But I miss Pentel Clena on the list! It's my favorite
all favorite 😍
I own a Uni alpha gel mechanical pencil, you should really do a review on it. They're great
I honestly think the lihit aqua dot twist ring notebooks are so much better, they never come apart and I think they have an a4 binder now too.
Yeah I carry a Fisher Space Pen in my purse it’s so handy

I love the way she narrated this vídeo, definitely the basic, but I rather the like the Kokuyo pastel Beetle Tip than the Zebra mildliner, because the ink doesn’t show through the paper.
Great job on the captions, Josh!
日本の文房具ってめっちゃ書きやすくていいよね!!
As far as I know Zebra DelGuard works as it was supposed only with default Diamond leads - other normal leads were broken regularily, while in simple GG 500 they didn't
Antonia, you're the best! Always
OMG JETPENS IS SO AESTHETIC
Psa I used to love the preppy fountain pens as an edc fountain pen it was cheap enough to not stress about maybe losing or breaking but the caps and tips are just far too fragile... the pilot plumix is far more durable and at a similar price point though it doesn't have a clip if that's important to you...
