I am just as confused AFTER watching this as I was BEFORE I watched. 🤦♀️. Would have really appreciated SEEING what changing the 'Tab Length' actually does. (Model D610BT)
It would be helpful if you showed examples of each of the functions you were attempting to explain in this video (print each one out). After all, it is a visual media and we're all novices.
I only wish you'd inform us of what these different settings do. Its hard to know where we want them set if we don't know what they do. Example, setting the display, I can assume its to make the screen lighter or darker, but in adjusting it to 1, I saw no change. I can only hope that there's another way to brighten the screen, its very dark and difficult to see.
This video has been super frustrating in trying to figure out how you formatted two lines of text without the text coming out at 8 point font, as it does when I try to follow your instructions. It seems you're missing a vital step by using a preset label prior to formatting your two lines of text (and clearly set up in the beginning before filming) and that gives us completely different results when we try to follow along.
Tabs just add 1" of blank tape to whatever label you are printing. So if you had a word typed out and wanted to add an extra 1" of tape to either side you can use the tab feature. If you wanted just a blank "tab label" you can simply hit the tab button and print a completely blank label.
@@labelmaker I have 18mm tape in the machine. I have typed on the top line 57 letters, I'm typing on the 2nd line and after 17 letters it is saying TEXT FULL???? (My LABEL, Length is AUTO and Margin is NARROW.) Do I not have the right settings for LABEL OR MARGIN?
there are no words to convert how delighted I am to find this ,,, big love
Ok thank you for the explanation on margins- i used this video to understand model D200.

So, looks like there's no way to cut off the left space except of using scissors.

@@capyluvrthat’s also what I am looking for! 😂 I haven’t found anything anywhere. Not TikTok, chrome, RUclips…. Nothing
Chain printing gives the least amount of wasted tape in my experience
@@k1ernan thank you
What exactly are ‘Tab’ labels? Thanks!

I hate how they make that much waste of tape. Overall 50% is getting wasted.
Why is it tell me !TEXT FULL What does that mean?
I believe you're trying to go beyond the number of print lines available.
