I know this is quite silly, but is frequent factory reset, let's say for example 10 times in a row, will it damage the phone's hardware or the internal memory? Will it reduce memory/hardware performance?
@@fernsehnostalgie I suppose the same applies as well on the Magic 2 Single LAN . A weird question maybe . I bought Magic 1 Starter kit( LAN + wifi). But just after that I realized that I can get Max 100Mbps via LAN and that is what I actually need , LAN , I don’t care about Wifi. What if I use the Magic Wifi as a primary one ? To connect it directly to the router. And use Magic LAN in the room when I need to connect it to PC? Could it work ? Or better now even try because I might damage it in some way ? What do you think ? Thank you .
I guess I answered to myself . Because the Magic Wifi is only 4 pins and when used as primary one - from the router it will only receive max 100Mbps so in this way it is limiting only in this way. So it might work but I will get the same result and without Wifi in my room . What do you think ? Thank you .
Does the mesh WiFi in these unit transmit the data through the powerline or through the mesh wireless network? Don't know exactly how to put it. But if my phone is connected to a devolo WiFi unit does the data then flow from the devolo unit through the powerlines to the router or is it transmitted wireless in the mesh wireless network?
@@golier44 I'm not 100 percent sure, but what I have read and understand the power lines make up the backbone in a Devolo mesh network. So the data to and from devices connected to a Devolo unit through WiFi seems to be transmitted through the power lines directly to the router. I hope this helps. I'm right now trying out a Devolo dlan mesh network. Just had the three units that make up the mesh network a couple of days and so far it seems to work fine. The network consists of 1 1200+ unit and 2 older 500mbps I got cheap just to try it out. And then ofc the fourth unit connected to the router by ethernet cable.
@@stimpen12 thank you. Have you purchased any powerline yet? I did a couple of days ago, Magic 1 Wifi, but thinking to change it for Magic 2 . Not sure yet which one to upgrade to .
@@golier44 The units I have all communicate through the powerlines. They have both WiFi and lan sockets. So they are powerline units but with WiFi also. I bought them used so I could try it out for cheap and so far they work great. I will later on see if I upgrade to magic 1 or 2
Is it good for gaming ? If i use ethernal cabel ?

Is the Magic 2 Next Wifi better in the LAN qualities than the Magic 2 LAN Triple or does it only have improvements in WIFI terms?
Hi. Did you find out the answer ? It is interesting for me to know as well. Thank you.
@@golier44 They are the same in the specs.
