If you have a softer reed, do they not close up and make the pitches flat when playing at a higher decibel level or the altissimo level ?
That‘s the thing. If people are used to biting on the reed, then they will close off a soft reed and it will be hard to play. If we maintain our embouchure stable and a high tongue position, intonation stays the same and reed doesn‘t close. But it always depends on the mouthpiece. Don‘t play 2.5 with a BD5 or smth. 😂
@@fabianhuegli and I don’t think I bite, I use a double lip.
