- Only two drivers have reached 20 wins since the 2020 season, and they are Kyle Larson and Anthony Macri. This is a different era, one of parity and rule changes to manufacture racing ... we discuss it all on today's SprintCarUnlimited 90 at 9.

I think Larson is the only current driver to be in the Kinser, Swindell, Wolfgang & Schatz league. That being said, I enjoy not knowing who will win when I show up for a race.
Larson would destroy them because back then you could run different stuff now every car is the same. Larson can drive and I guarantee you he’d out drive them any day
You make entirely too much sense for this sport. Regarding the tires, unfortunately, history is repeating itself. Several years ago I asked Shane Stewart about the tires at Knoxville and he said, "You never know what is coming off the truck next!"
Tires have always been a major complaint from race teams. Yes,there needs to be better quality control in manufacturing them,but the same can be said for cars and trucks,and other products. The wicker bill change has been a big factor this year. Drivers have to learn throttle control instead of just mashing the right pedal and steering. Most teams have the resources, ''money ",so that's not a major factor. IMO,not having a dominant team,is great. I don't want to go to a race expecting to see a certain driver win all the time. I think this year has been very competitive.
Whenever you can go out and buy every part that every other team has that level the playing field that's why you don't see 20 win seasons
With all the things you mentioned being considered, do you think the actual racing is better today or back then?
It's better today. In 1976 Wolfgang won like the first 12 features at Knoxville. Now you go there, ten guys can win.
No, the racing has gotten boring too often with much less passing.

The best sprint car driver currently could easily put up 20 wins in a season.Too bad he races taxi cabs instead
Macri just picks and chooses easy races for him to win he aint that good at all put him on a traveling series he wont be sheet

Don't all "pick and choose" guys do that? Is it just Macri you're down on for doing it, or anyone who does it? There's another well known racer who does this same thing.
That’s assanine to say…. I believe he’d finish top 4 in either national series if he ran full time
Agree he’d win some on a high limit or woo but to say he’d win even 7 is not going to happen , Anthony is a wheel man but not doing even 10 but do believe he’d be in to 5 in points if he’d run with either series
