A little to bias of a review, you either work for dodge or have no idea what quality is, I own this car and the premium beats sound system sounds like shit. Tires are to small for this car, be prepared to buy a set every 5-10k at 180 a pop. Everything else is spot on and love this car for the price I paid.

Why does everyone say you have to make sure it's locked before you remote start? It locks when you double tap the remote start button anyway. I can't wait till i get my hands on my 16' scat pack when i get home from Europe, Chargers are great cars, made the 5.7 to 6.4 upgrade. I like the new body style, though i think the 14' style looks meaner in my opinion.

How do they get such a sweet sound sound from this exhaust? Is it the resonators or mufflers?
It's just a large engine and a really non-restrictive exhaust system.
I like the Scat Pak because I don't need the fancy stuff... maybe the premium stereo (the Alpine 6-speaker system) and the 8.4AN radio, but cloth seats and no other fancy features are fine... the 6.4 HEMI is all I'd need! A true Wolf in Sheep's Clothing! (:
The premium audio system is the beats audio 554 wat 10 speaker system. The base system is the 6 speaker setup.
Nope... Sound Group gives you 6 PREMIUM speakers (Alpine) and a 276-watt external amplifier.

+MikesCarInfo. it's not that rare. I have a Scat Pack and had a 300 before it. My Charger doesn't have it but moisture plagued the lenses of my Chrysler, and it was only a 2013. Still way more to love about both cars to deter me, but IJS.
Is the 8.4 inch touch screen, navigation, backup camera, and sensors all standard in the scat pack? Looking at getting one soon and I really am hoping it is. Someone let me know please?

Getting mine in the Go Mango Orange color by the end of this year or the beginning of the next year! The only options I got are the leather suede seats, beats audio system and sunroof! Don't need more than that!

I originally wanted that color as well but nah, Dodge decided to cut my favorite color off -_- GoMango ain't that bad though. You should consider it or the new green or yellow. I'd probably go for green as well. Other than those, I'd choose Billet Silver or gray metallic

I heard from a cop that has a charger and he said that alot of cops with the charger have been having problems with their cars. Is the transmission good ? Because i knkw that dodge trans always give problems after about 70k miles.
I worked at a Dodge dealership and no the transmissions did not have that many problems. Dodge uses the ZF8HP transmission that is also used in a bunch of other vehicles like Rolls Royce and Bentley. If it was a transmission problem then it would fail in the other vehicles as well. If true, I think it may have more to do with how the police drive the cars... it seems they drive like they are always in a formula 1 race. the dimmer ring on the right does absolutely nothing in my Challenger R/T, what's it for now? ambient lighting or something? how do you get it to work? i've played with it, fiddled with it, but it doesn't seem to do anything, unless i'm missing something 🤪
When it is really dark in the car look for an ambient light coming from above the rear view mirror.

what's the difference between scat pack and superbee?
The rt scat pack is basically the srt 392 without the steering wheel, Harmon kardon, drive modes, larger brakes, etc. The superbee was an srt but with no large screen and technology options.

Yes the SRT 392
+Jose Frias Identical cars. Only difference is Scat has fixed suspension, SRT can be dampened for more soft drive, and 4 Piston Brembos instead of 6 Piston. Other then that identical cars. I actually prefer the Scat. SRT still gets the SRT driver experience day etc. The scat is a throw back to what a true muscle car is.
I'll bet the insurance rates are amazing as well.

The scar pack only has a 6.4L engine that’s naturally aspirated it’s max is 180mph and the srt hellcat has a 6.2L engine that’s supercharged it’s max is 200 mph

what's the difference between this and the srt 392
SRT has 6 piston 15 inch Brembo brakes up front. ScatPack has 4 piston 13 inch Brembo brakes upfront.
SRT has adaptive suspension and SC doesn't. That's about all I can think of off the top. Oh wait the SRT has it to where you can reduce the power by using ecomode or valet mode. SC doesn't.

+Frederick Randle right. I had one of the last generation Challenger SRTs before they put the 392 in it and to me personally the new ScatPacks are an upgrade to them with some of the standard features and the brakes are the same as those older SRTs.

Someone educate me why paddle shifters on a automatic car?
So it’s an automatic with a sequential gearbox, meaning that you have the option to control when you change the gears. The paddle shifters are only active when it’s in the semi-manual mode which people only use to go fast, it would be quicker to change gears when they are behind the wheel then having to reach for the stick, it is also safer because if you are traveling at high speeds both your hands stay on the wheel when shifting.

Although I will be picking up a 2017 Scat Pack around june of next year, I find the fact there is no spare tire disgusting. You're paying between 41k to 48k for this car and they can't give you that? They already come stock with shit 245 tires when a car pushing almost 500hp should have atleast 275's. 245's on this car is like trying to push a disabled car off the road while wearing roller skates.

Don't waste your money with the ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control) option. The module cost just over 3k to replace. My 2012 RT Max was in an accident (insurance totaled it) and that was the price quoted. Your call

@@Runtz. Turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Insurance gave me 15k for my 2012 RT with just over 120k miles...and was starting to have issues. Upgraded and went with a new factory ordered scat pack. Waited just over 11 weeks..but man was it worth it. Thank you accident!!!

I don't think you notice, this one actually takes design cues from the classic chargers, same goes for the 2014.
