You described it perfectly at the beginning. Sleep Token songs make you crave for more. You want more sounds, more lyrics, more breakdowns, more screaming, more EVERYTHING. Even if they made a song that was 24 hours long, I'd listen to the entire thing and still want more. The formula works well because we all come crawling back for every song😂
Is hard to really fully understand or appreciate this album without listening to their previous albums. I highly recommend starting from the beginning to fully experience this trilogy.

For me the reason why ST called this song its title is because of the sheer callbacks. Take Me Back to Eden had a lot of callbacks in itself. Eden = beginnings = callbacks to their previous releases. Some of this song's lyrics had reference to Chokehold, the first track off this album. You should give it a listen if you haven't already ❤

It somehow presents the whole life of a human being for me. You start innocent and calm in the arms of your mother, later in that rap part you start to realize that life isnt that easy anymore (messed up). But you get to the part where everything goes well again (maybe you find love, passion or career) - and the end is indeed nasty because death is inevitable and cruel. What a masterpiece!

I wish just the first section of the song was it's own track. I find that sometimes they have musical ideas that I wish they built on a little more. It's all really cool but I feel myself wanting one idea developed more rather than 3-4 songs smooshed together.
