Sa lahat ng nagreview ng raptor, dito ako pinakananiniwala sa lahat ng sinabi kasi it’s a personal review of a hardcore overlander. I’m very convinced bro jec and now the raptor is a must buy for me. Sana makagawa ka din video on the necessary modifications needed para maging pwede yan sa hardcore overlanding na ginagawa nyo together with the pricing and budget.

Very good review sir. Sana natry nyo din sports mode and ford pass. The best talaga here in The Philippine market yung Raptor. For me sobrang sulit sya.
Yung gusto itanong nasagot mo na haha. Duda kasi sa fully electronic gaya nyan kung kakayanin yung mga off roading adventure nyo. Kasi feeling ko magkakaprob sa electronics pag nabaha at napuno ng mud ang engine bay. Esp sa shifting ng 4wd baka kako mag error or hindi na mag on ang sasakyan.
Gen1 raptor may kasama kami before mag trail humihinto pag lumagpas sa water wading depth level niya, differential bumigay, nag christmas lights yun gauge niya check engine etc, after that binenta na niya 🤣

Re: NVH ng Ranger Raptor. There are owner's review na poor ang NVH kapag umuulan. Napakaingay daw ng bubong, tunog latang-lata sa patak ng ulan. Sa ingay sa loob kapag umuulan, the infotainment cannot even catch your voice command.

@@sealoftheliving4998 Unfortunately, maingay po yung roof ng Gen 2 Raptor pag maulan. We have the Gen 2 Raptor and 2016 Ranger Wildtrak. Mas maganda pa po yung NVH ng 2016 Wildtrak ko :)

If you haven’t tried, putting it in Sport mode gives a (surprising, kasi I only tried it after 2 months of owning one) different driving experience. Mararamdaman mo talaga what the engine has to offer. (Also, if you feel na masyadong naghahang sa first two gears ang sasakyan)

Napakaganda ang ford raptor, matibay din, Kung bakit nasisira ay dahil, sa minomodify, binabago ang ayos at lahat lahat sineset up eka nga para daw mas maging maangas, pero Di nila alam ang epekto nito sa kanyang, performance, wala na sa standard Kaya nagsisira na. Paalala,,,huwag baguhin ang itsura at original na pagkakagawa nito lahat lahat na meron si raptor, if you love this car, respect how it was done, if you have one like this, care & don't modify its looks!

@Jec yung adaptive cruise control eh yung pag naka cruise control ka halimbawa sa highway naka set ka sa @75MPH per hour, pag yung harap mo nagbabagal or pag me nag cut sa yo automatic nag break sya..tapus yung setting mo dyan lets say 2 cars pagitan maintain nya ang agwat sa harap mo by two cars with automated yung pag speed up nya upto dun sa cruise control setting and slow down nya to maintain 2 cars pagitan..I have it in my Gen 2 F-150 Raptor na 2019 pa lumabas. Naisip ko maganda sa pinas pag stop and go mag cruise control ka sa 10KPH hahaha di ka preno ng preno..

Raptor = Safety and Comfort

HILUX = Reliabilty
Hindi ka makaka uwi using safety and comfort lang ang Dala mo.
Yes raptor has comfort compared to Hilux because ford has rear coil springs while Hilux has eliptical springs for cargo purposes. Raptor cannot handle much loads or else it will bottom down. Ang Hilux ay good for harabas but Raptor is for show.
Idol jec we bought a pickup but only 4x2, was thinking i setup sya na clean look lang with 285/70/17 tires tapos suspension. Okay lang po kaya yon? Parang pamporma lang. Hehe Dami kasi basher pag 4x2 ka lang tapos nag setup ka ng sasakyan mo. PS: even 4x4 naman unit ko di ko kaya mag offroad or gamitin sa ganung terrain mainly city driving lang hehe

They’re both great rig, dipende lang sa pag gagamitan, raptor is designed for baja and overlanding, fj you can use it sa hardcore offroading tried and tested and the rest is history 😊

4 Cylinder 2.0L engine for 2.3M? 😂😂😂 dito sa Dubai makaka kuha kana niyan ng Silverado zr2 na naka 6.2L V8. Para sakin Raptor lang yan by badge para matawag lang talaga na Ford Raptor😅
Ang tariff ng sasakyan dito sa is 40% plus vat 12% plus ad valorem tax, making cars expensive 😊

specs sheet wala talaga ako masabi sa ford raptor, nagka gen 1 ako na raptor, but binenta kona din after 3 yrs. ito base lng sa experience ko ah ung feeling na wla kang peace of mind every time na gamit mo ang sasakyan, dahil lagi ako nasisiraan pero hands down ako sa comfort nea at features, pinalitan ko ng hilux grs 2024,

Im puzzled why people chose yun malambot na ride despite may mga issues from consumers versus sa matagtag pero reliable, andali kasi isolve ng tagtag bumili ka lang ng magandang suspension, raptor naman kaya maganda ride kasi fox ang suspension hindi naman ford.
Kaya ginawa ng toyota ngayon inimprove yun suspension.

Well for me ito ha, power malayong malayo with grs talagang malakas ang power ng grs, suspension ford raptor mas okay pero hindi ko cocompromise yun power versus sa comfort eh kasi hindi ka naman tatakbo ng 100km na puro lubak or rough road, for me pinapansin lang na matagtag ang toyota kasi wala ka na iba ma complain kundi yun lang, toyota is designed to last kaya siguro yun composition ng suspension matagtag man pero matibay, i had a ford explorer before ganda ng ride super lambot pero over time palit ka pang ilalim, versus toyota napang trail mo na lahat yun mga rubber bushing yun pa din

Cruise control pag nag set k ng speed 100ks kahit ndi ka nka tapak sa gas pedal aandar sya ng 100ks. Ang adaptive cruise control same thing pero pag yung sa harap mo vehicle bumagal sa 100ks babagal k din iaadapt nya ung speed ng nasa harap mo

Hilux 2017 same lang pinag kaiba lang interior exterior? Do your research and homework check the chassis, the engine the axles, the aerodynamics the tuning, the suspension, have you driven one?

Toyota fan ako, some may say bias ako if i will describe a toyota why yun ang pick ko, pero from my point of view, reliability wise kahit on and off road, hindi man siya sing techy ng ford pero it gives more in a sense of peace of mind kasi alam mong walang electronics na papalya dahil nga di siya techy, basic kasi siyang sasakyan it serves its purpose, malaking bagay sakin na practical ang toyota kasi low maintainance kaya lahat ng sasakyan ko toyota, but doesnt mean panget or di ko gusto ang ford, may explorer ako at everest before kasi maganda interior ans ride, but to sum it up lamang si toyota for me

as much as i want this raptor but recently from nababasa ko lang at naririnig sa iba to naexp na ng tita ko yung issue with their newly bought raptor last yr july. they went to isabela for business then suddenly tumirik. they went home to manila while they took theiuir car to ford santiago. after days of waiting, they finally went back to isabela to pick up the car, it runs smoothly back to manila. unfortunately, when they trying to park it to another place, it does not start at all. they posted this incident online, even their relatives who also purchased raptor has exp this issue while some of their relatives who happened to get their raptor in the same dealer (ford balintawak) is now wishing not to exp the same thing. skl
Saw this exact post you're referring to. Not from last year but it's from the year 2020 3 years ago. And it's the 1st gen Raptor, not the current Next-Gen
