- We CUT a stun gun IN HALF!!!! We first SHOCKED each other!! Millions of volts of Electricity running into my arm was a shocking experience!

What's in side a gun
that "amplifier box thingy" is called a transformer. you can get them cheap on Amazon (like 5 bucks) that turn 3-6V into 900,000 volts and would be capable of 9cm arcs. So there you go. make some stun guns
To make that work you have to make a inverter to convert dc power (the battery) to ac transformers only work on ac current

Thanks for cutting one of these open I was wondering how they work as I have one myself due to a creep on my college campus I now carry mine 24/7 though mine is likely higher voltage than any of yours as mine is the highest voltage civilians can legally buy but regardless of voltage I'm sure they all work about the same

I was actually more nervous about it than Lincoln was but after going through a few self defense courses taught by the university police I am more confident and have a healthy respect for it though I still wish college campuses were safe enough that people wouldn't have to carry stun guns
