When I first heard this song on Santana's "Caravanserai' LP in 1972 I knew Carlos was going into a direction that I gladly jumped on board for...To see Lee "Captain Fingers" Ritenour, and Dave Grusin (The Soundtracks of my Youth) doing justice to this tune all these years later just brought a big smile to my face... I'm so glad that I was able to get to see the both of them in their younger days, mine included!
Grusin & Ritenour, can't get any better than that. Jazz Royalty . This music makes me happy!!!!
