I did watch baby Okie Dokie getting his first bath with his Dad Ernie. I also saw Ziggy plop down in the water they dumped from the water bowl and the bath water. I watch a lot of Megan and LE"s videos and thoroughly enjoy seeing all the babies. I am also a cat person so I enjoy all their cats.

When I was teaching - my big cat Py would get really annoyed with me when I would spend too much time at the desk or correcting papers and jump up on the desk and sit on the keyboard and demand my attention. He, Py, would also sit at the top of the stairs and cry like Siamese can do until I turned the computer off and to come to bed when I would stay up too late. Pets are make you life so special. 😊

Will the exposure to water cause the truck to rust out, and will that introduce harmful chemicals from the corrosion into the water and cause negitive interactions with any water plants or fish you incorporate?

We had that same water issue with our garage. We put a small drain next to the cement slab with 2ft long metal grates that had slats to allow the water to go through. To do this we dug a small trench and lined it with cement making sure there was a good ledge to sit the metal grate on.
My kitty Buddy can tell when I am getting ready to go outomewhere. He will follow me around & sometimes lay down in front of the door as if to keep me from leaving. Many times he is waiting at the door for me when I come home. I hope you all don't have any dangerous weather, but it sounds like you will be getting a lot of rain. Jami I hope your mom decides to change the time of her visit as it sounds like it will be bad weather. St Louis can have some really bad weather & tornadoes & so can Houston. I took off from Bush airport one day going to St Louis as the black clouds came rolling in & the pilot was like a fighter pilot trying to maneuver around the weather, & it was one of those 40 person planes! No fun! But we made it just fine to St Louis! I love to watch Jami's face during lives & I have a feeling there's a story with the Dude wipes!!! You 2 are the best to watch live!

Our railways such as the Canadian National or the Canadian Pacific, as well as many commuter rail services use ‘miles an hour’ and distance traveling in ‘miles’ while our urban railways, such as subways and light rail, use metres and kilometres for distances and kilometres per hour for speed limits. Yeah, the brains in our government figures all this stuff out for us.... ☺️

When I went into Nursing Training in the ‘70’s it was *ALL* Metric..so had to learn that pretty quickly…but I still kind of revert to the Imperial a lot. I still recognize my height & weight in feet & inches & lbs for instance… It gets my brain pretty messed up dealing with it all sometimes😏

For your snake issue use gallon sprayer mix water with Cinnamon& clove oils spray around house foundation, green house and garden. Snakes hate the smell and will leave........ you could spray around ponds and parts of pastures. Must be re done after rain or every few weeks.............❤
Could you divert the water coming into the barn with a cinderblock retaining wall to divert the water around the side. You could actually make it a landscaping feature. Seems quicker and less expensive and easier than converting the shop.

You are so right about reverting back to pounds and feet, for weight and height. I do that as well, lol. In fact, although I believe newborn babies are recorded in hospital journals in kilograms and millimeters, most parents even now, will say their baby was 19 inches long and 8 and 1/2 pounds, for example. It was exhausting & I’m so glad that I retired before Covid reared its ugly head.
I have such compassion for all the medical workers that have had to endure that.

For your snake issue use gallon sprayer mix water with Cinnamon& clove oils spray around house foundation, green house and garden. Snakes hate the smell and will leave........ you could spray around ponds and parts of pastures.

Jamie my husband had a dog that originally obtained for our youngest son. He became so attached to that dog that people noticed and made comments. I asked him one time if the dog Snickers went over a cliff and I went also...who would he save. He said "the dog obviously. You have hands to hang on with!"😅
Jake gave his gas grill to Pops...Rob grills everything and his recipes are fantastic....Buddy is a great cook too!
