Just Stop Oil protesters smash Magna Carta glass at British Library

- Two climate activists attempted to smash the glass protecting a copy of the Magna Carta in the British Library.
Dr Sue Parfitt and Judy Bruce used a hammer to crack the glass of the document dating from 1215 to protest government inaction over climate issues.
Both women, aged 82 and 85 respectively, then glued their hands together.
