  • Day 4 of my Pilates Reformer Workout Challenge - brand new for 2024! Each of the 7 daily videos contains an express workout that covers the whole body - some workouts a little more spice in certain areas. You can do these workouts daily, or pace yourself and space them out. No props are required, and they are appropriate for all levels.
    Today's workout covers the whole body, with extra work on core - including abs and back - and arms.

    Thanks again! My abs were quite sore from Day 3 so I had to pause doe a couple of days. It felt great to resume with Day 4. I like how these are 20+ minutes. It’s always a pleasure being here with you!

    The diagonal arms with rotation were very helpful in loosening up my neck and back. 👍🏻 Sitting for the ab and arms portion was a little difficult since my hip flexors seem tight. I did try the stretch (the one with one foot on the floor) that you suggested while doing Peter Pan. It did help a bit.

      Glad that you mentioned this re: tight hip flexors - you can also try sitting on a small box (Balanced Body calls these the “moon box”) or a pillow to alleviate the tension in that position. Let me know how it works out!

      @@MelanieLopezPilates Just did a trial run with a pillow and then yoga block. The yoga block was better, more support, but my bum is too big😂. I’ll have to look into a moon box because it did alleviate the pain. Thanks for the suggestions.

    Melanie, I think I have to resubscribe to your me.ebership channel, I had fraud on my card in December, so I had to be reissued a new card. Can I still be at the same level I was, I think I had 5 months. I'm glad I realized it this morning.

      Hey Julie - sorry to hear about the fraud situation! That’s always such a pain. Good news: the “time in membership” counter doesn’t reset when you cancel or when payment fails; it’s cumulative, so the counter should pick back up where you left off prior to your last membership cycle. Thanks so much!
