- ASMR Future Shopping Network Role Play - A Soft Spoken ASMR Role Play for Relaxation. This is a idea i have had for a long time to bring back something i enjoyed many years ago. I want to make something like this a continued series of video. When i was younger my first "Bob Ross" was a lady on the shopping network. She had a way about her that would trigger my ASMR.

ASMR stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response it is described as a pleasurable tingling sensation that can be felt most commonly in the back of the scalp and down the spine but not limited to these area's.
I try to describe ASMR experience to people using something common like visiting a hairdresser, do you find the experience of someone focusing on you, the gentle touching of your hair, the sound of the scissors moving around you relaxing?
That would be a relaxing experience, watching ASMR video is like recreating that type of experience.
I believe most people can experience ASMR, to experience ASMR you need to find you trigger, common triggers will often be related to one person focusing on you or another person and watching this person focus or give them attention will trigger it.

I still come back to this from time to time. It's so delectibly relaxing, and I still find myself falling asleep to it whenever life's stress has me all tensed up.

I know you mean specifically this kind of video, but Dmitri gave us hundreds of other wonderful ASMR videos. I genuinely miss him uploading, he was the first ASMR RUclips channel that I subscribed to, all the way back in August 2014. But, so long as his life is going well and he's enjoying it, that's all that matters.

Confession time: I have always hated normal coat hangers, and before I watched this video (when it first came out) I had never heard of non-slip coat hangers. Soooo Dmitri introduced me to this magical product. The sales pitch really worked.
If you told me three years ago that a man would upload a video of himself snake-oiling coat hangers on the internet, and that I would be listening to it and falling asleep at 5 o'clock in the a.m.,

No, that makes him amazing at it. People fall asleep and miss the special offer, saving the company money. And his voice is so nice that they want to buy it anyway.
DBread yes exactly they fall asleep and then when they are sleeping the product is subconsciously remembered by the brain and they then can't stop thinking about it.

I NEVER comment on videos but felt I had too this one time. Some how managed to get tingles playing it through my phone, out loud, without headphones, and even watched the whole thing to the end when all it was, was someone selling a coat hanger. Impressive to say the least.

Yes! I love home shopping role plays! I also was always given asmr by certain infomercials! Please, will you sell me some pillows!? That's my most favorite type of shopping segment. They flufff them, smoosh them, smooth them and all in all demonstrate how comfy their pillows are. They even use models to show how the pillow supports the neck and back. No scratching tho.

I thought those little clips were meant to go around the hook of the hanger. I have something very similar and it makes so much more room in the wardrobe. I love watching the shopping channels, they can talk and talk and talk about stuff all day

What a great idea.. as a kid I used to find QVC/Shopping Network very relaxing.. but not nearly as relaxing as this. Perfectly done.
The Bob Ross reference in the description gave me an ah ha moment. I loved that guy. I would watch him all the time and get so relaxed with waves and waves of euphoria flowing through me like a happy little tree swaying in the wind. That I believe was my first asmr.

TV shopping shows are a fave of mine, and I'm not immune to their sales techniques, myself. Sleepless women buy tons of jewelry in the middle of the night.
TV rule - remember not to wear stripes when shooting - they come alive and do weird and distracting visual things.
I have a ton of these I bought on HSN and have used them for years. You were using the suit hanger that holds trousers as well, or heavy coats. The ones without the trouser bar are for lighter pieces - shirts, slinky dresses, etc. The dip in the hanger is for lightweight dresses that have little straps for hanging. The little things to hold another hanger below one another are supposed to be slipped over the hanger's hook, dropping them down just a few inches - not across the trouser bar. Cotton t-shirts are near impossible to use (on the smaller hangers), as the knitted cotton sticks to the hangers so much. That maneuver has a bit of a learning curve, though. I bought 100 with a bonus of 25 patterned hangers, 50 of the doubling thingies and 50 spring clips - no tie bar. More, please.
