Love it, wasn't as hype and internet breaking as Ultra Instinct, nor did I expect it to be. Neither was Naruto and Sasuke's six paths transformations. It had a lot to do with the fact that Oda wanted to go back and remind viewers that although One Piece has become serious with high levels of power, it was originally meant to be fun. This cartoon style of Gear 5 was mean to embody that so it wasn't quite as epic as Ultra Instinct. I still remember though being in Middle School and sneaking into my parent's bedroom after bedtime and watching Goku go Super Saiyan for the first time back in the 90's. I was trying to be sneaky but after he transformed I couldn't hold still and woke everyone in the house up. lmao I love anime.

Dragon Ball is just sheer epic and fun, One Piece actually has character growth, tons of characters, better writing, more adventure, etc. etc. lol I've been a fan since 2001 and it started airing on Toonami. It used to be the 4Kids dub back then and it would censor literally EVERYTHING though. When Nami stabbed herself in the arm during Arlong Part, it was actually re-animated to show her punching the ground instead so it wasn't as violent. lmao
