Which meant the likes of the UVF or UDA, could see where the Provos were shooting from, so they could shoot back at them. Obviously when the shooting started we got away from the area. Was fun when you're young, but thinking back, so dangerous, and we young ones were being used by the Paramilitaries, on both sides for their cause. I joined up when I was 16, because I felt I was being exploited, and most likely would of joined the likes of the UVF. Glad I got out of the place at that particular time.

I am 81 and was born and raised in Manchester. In my youth I was proud of the City where people showed respect to one another and life was so peaceful. After watching this I now realise that my decision to retire to rural France twenty odd years ago was the right thing to do. Such visible hatred and religious discrimination is appalling in today’s society and I feel only sorrow that my grandchildren will never experience the quality of life that I did.

Hello, my girlfriend and I were assaulted by the Manchester Police - they unlawfully arrested me for something I didn't do (because of a petty accusation from a neighbour which was a lie and later my neighbour even apologised. Quick recap on the situation, the neighbour was looking through my bedroom window when my girlfriend and I were half naked, and I shouted for him to get away, specifically "Move you perv" then he accused me of being racist to the police). Some time later, 4 massive police officers entered my property forcefully through the window and unlawfully took my phone. I was detained for about 24hrs and NFA'd of course because I did nothing wrong. During the arrest, one of the police officers pushed my girlfriend to the ground because she was recording and siezed the phone, when we got the phone back we found the footage of him pushing her in the gallery recycling bin. When we reported it to the Inspector Detective he said there's nothing they can do and the officers were doing their job.
If these people want to support Palestine maybe they should take the protest a bit closer to that region and stop pretending this isn't just an anti-christmas march in the uk.

Quick recap on the situation, the neighbour was looking through my bedroom window when my girlfriend and I were half naked, and I shouted for him to get away, specifically "Move you perv" then he accused me of being racist to the police). Some time later, 4 massive police officers entered my property forcefully through the window and unlawfully took my phone. I was detained for about 24hrs and NFA'd of course because I did nothing wrong. During the arrest, one of the police officers pushed my girlfriend to the ground because she was recording and siezed the phone, when we got the phone back we found the footage of him pushing her in the gallery recycling bin. When we reported it to the Inspector Detective he said there's nothing they can do and the officers were doing their job.
