If I look at price and their performances... I choose Nubia Red Magic 3 because that phone costs 500€ and has the same performance as Asus Rog 2 which costs over 1000€
What ROM version were you using on RM3? There is a recent update v.2.10 or v1.16 depending on the region. It has significantly improved the performance of this already very capable phone.
I got the update but the still didn't fix the broken dark mode or the lack of gesture navigation. Also it's still only showing the May security update which is disappointing.
@@dracer35 dude you can be as resentful as you want. I only mentioned in terms of performance improvement in the new update. I understand the ROM lacks a lot of features but you can root the device and get a lot of them for instance substratum for total black them.
@@alanzaki0739 I understand what you are saying. Yes it can be done. It's just that fact that it should have to be. The dark theme is a feature in the stock operating system. It should work. It doesn't make sense to me how a company releases a product that if anyone had tested at all, they would have known there is issues that need to be fixed before releasing it to the public. I deal with the dark theme not working but the android security patch being 3 months out of date is unacceptable to me. Until they fix that I continue to use my other phone that has the latest security patch installed.

Red Magic 3 would be the best choice if it had better software. Chinese version of Red Magic OS is good but full of bloatware, the EU/US version of Red Magic OS is basic Android with most of not just the Red Magic OS but basic Android features cut out (for example you can not even hide your caller ID in the EU/US version but can in the Chinese version). Too bad that ZTE decided to gimp down the software outside China, removing just the bloatware would have been better.
I honestly don't believe in huge amount of refresh rate (in display). It's just a marketing strategy like? The main issue here is because there newest chipset (sd855+) and also the GPU too. The real high refresh rate that we see in naked eye is our monitor.
I get my redmagic 3s today that screen size 90hz screen refresh rate smooth as hell ,5000mah battery high than average phone now except Rog 2 ,it has 3trigger button and one accessory gaming pad ,fan strong enough ,fair price
Probably better idea to not use a greenscreen. Will give a better idea of the screens. Also the if you use, greenscreen, a darker tone might be better. Bright blue feels kinda harsh
All that matters is gaming tests the RM3 is the better phone out the box and it's cheaper, the RM3s is also being released making it the most powerful phone on the market and still cheaper than the rog 2.

It's all down to preference in the end. Preferences like. Built in fan or whatever. Which is why most people opt for since have an active cooling fan is a huge bonus for long term high graphical gaming.
The newer Red Magic S is out and is the same price as the Red Magic but has the snapdragon 855+, which that newer chip is optimized for gaming and speed.

I think it's not really that impressive. I mean, you have 120hz, overclocking, and over heat. The 6k covers them all. But asus promised to have 7+hs playing on this device, but iduno. But you are right, we need drain test.

@@faezmafaez2172 that's how technology works buddy. A powerful CPU at high frequency GENERATES HEAT IN GRAHIC INTENSIVE GAMES. It's fairly basic. The 120hertz is a nice addition but way too overkill. Contributes in heat generating since it makes the CPU work harder. The red magic is amazing BECAUSE of its active cooling fan ALONE. Turn that fan on and you can game for hours. It blows out the heat generated by your graphic intensive games.
