- As if we weren't stressed and emotional enough we just had an Earthquake. We feel like the world has flipped upside down. At least we were all together because of the quarantine.
We were in pure panic mode. We caught both of them on camera.
That was the biggest earthquake we have ever felt.

Probably Boston taking a humorous approach to the seriousness of an earthquake, is his way of coping with the stress of it all.
Agreed, give the kid a break, of course he knew it wasn't for real. Yeah speak that kind of negativity over the boy, you tell him he's the kind of kid bad things will happen too!! Oh get over yourself, if you had taught your children PROPERLY about risks and expectations then he wouldn't have behaved that way!!

That is how my friend deals with stress. She doesn't know how to react so either laughs or makes jokes.

I'm so sad my grandad passed away in his sleep on the 27 of April I missed this blog so I came back and watched this one you guys make me feel a little better
People are saying the dad was being harsh but Brock needs a to learn how to be safe Incase there is another bigger earthquake he just wanted him to be safe

honestly as someone who’s gone through tons of earthquakes, its hard to thinking and react quickly when there’s earthquakes. when you feel an earthquake take cover and then go outside incase of stronger aftershocks. once you’re outside just make sure you’re not close to poles or power-lines. you should always have shoes by the door or by your bed, make sure you also have a go bag. (with snacks , water , supplies , medicine and clothes) when earthquakes started happening here in puerto rico i had to live outside of my house for about a month and my go bag is what my family used to live off of. you should read into the puerto rico earthquakes that happened early this year. stay safe !

you can stand in a door frame it’s still a safer place to be then just standing in the middle of the room. a door frame isn’t going save u but it’s a better chance

I live in Cali and there was earthquake all summer 2019 the biggest was 7.9
Real -lyric yess it was on forth of July in the morning then again like 2 days later. So scary

Scary. I’ve been in one earthquake I was at a red light and my car started shaking. I yelled at my daughter to quit moving around. Then I get home and my friend called and said did you feel the earthquake over there. I had to apologize to my daughter. But nothing like you guys had. I’m glad y’all are ok
Just found these people. Had to rewatch most of the video because i was too focused on their house the first time around. I’m such an interior design/ house freak, i could cry over this. This house and everything is beyond gorgeous. I’ve never found a house that i would gladly copy and paste and not change a single thing- and for that (and i enjoyed the video *the second time lol* ) I’ve subscribed!!

NEVER UNDER DOORFRAMES PEOPLE!!! ALWAYS UNDER TABLES. If your property collapses or "pancakes" down, doorframes collapse too. That recommendation was for very old buildings, built before the current building code.

Do not stand under a doorway. Go under a table by the legs. Because if something lands on the table and breaks the table in half then you'll not get hurt because you're by the legs which are on an angle.

I live in the town in California that had the 6.4 and 7.1 earthquakes last summer on July fourth and fifth. Here we have had so many aftershocks and they are never ending. Everything was so hard to deal with. In our town and the other town affected no one was injured but a lot of buildings had structural damage and were closed but as a town we were strong. I will tell you they are scary to go through but it is nice to see people working together to help others

Up here in Idaho, we had a 6.5 magnitude quake just north of Boise a couple weeks ago. Since Boise and Salt Lake are only a couple hundred miles away, do you think these quakes are connected?
People saying he was too harsh with his son obviously don’t have kids you have the responsibility of taking care of. He was being goofy, which is fine... he’s a kid. But it’s also okay and GOOD for a father to be stern with his children in a serious situation.
Thankfully we have no earthquakes in Ireland🙏☘️

I love dogs! Did anyone notice Frannie didn't seem too worried about the earth quake & the aftershocks but when the fam is pelting Boston with earthquake advice, (skip to 12:30), Frannie has totally taken cover under the chair, lol! She's actually hiding there looking concerned at the fam from like 11:40 to about 12:35 or 12:45 I think!

What do you have on your front door glass? We have a front door like that and i don’t know what to do so people can’t see in.
I know this is late and someone may have already told you this but it is a myth that standing under a doorway will help you in an earthquake. It's actually better to either hide under a desk covering your head or running outside. :D

I experienced my first earthquake in Vegas during the summer. It was the 7.1 in Cali and I felt it in Vegas. Also my moms dogs started barking like 2mins before it happened so they definitely have the dog instincts. I also said my first curse word in front of my mom then.
When this earthquake happened, I live in West Jordan and we were outside and you could see the ground do a wave... you could see the ground moving. It was the craziest thing ever!
We had a 5.2 the very next day and a couple small ones after that! I’m In Nor Cal.....I will never get used to them! Glad you were all OK!!!🙏👍👏🙌

Earthquakes don't even phase us here in California. You guys aren't used to them in Utah! My daughter is serving a mission in Utah,being a California girl the earthquake was no big deal to her , as others in her mission were freaking out! Stay Safe!!

You can go out side during an earthquake but into an open area away from buildings and power lines.dont run cause you can fall and injure yourself or be crushed by falling debris.the Safest place is in a door way or under a sturdy table. I grew up in SoCal and that's what they thought us from an early age. I'd rather deal with tornados like I do now,in OK, than deal with earthquakes.
Omg I was literally so scared when it happened. All of the sudden I woke up to shaking and then I thought my ceiling fan was going to fall on me :/ idk why I still just sat in my bed 😂

I've experienced earthquakes and they aren't fun. We had a 7.2 and a 6.1 in New Zealand that was like 10 years ago. I still remember it clearly. The epicentre was about 10km away from my house .

Yeah, we were hit really bad in bountiful. It was scary, I have had anxiety about it for some time and living though it made me better about another one. I felt very peaceful during it all
