Baobhan Sith look like 1st and 2nd ascensions when they hunt. They are fae that pride themselves on being able to look and act like half vampire, half succubi, even though they are neither. The 3rd ascension is their real form. They are actually Scottish Banshees. Thats why she suddenly becomes pale and mournful. The name "Baobhan Sith" is an old word with an old phonology. Its actually pronounced "baa'-van shee", or Bavanshee, the Scottish sisters of the infamous mournful Irish Banshees.
Actually, she's not a fae vampire at all. Or a succubi. She's actually a different fae monster entirely that evolved to merely act half like vampires, half like succubi to hunt humans, but they hide their true form even when hunting. Baobhan Sith is actually a Scottish Banshee. Thats why her 3rd ascension, her true form, looks and acts like that. They are called Baobhan Sith because the actual phonology of the old name isn't (bow-ban sith), its actually (baa'-van shee), in other words she's a Bavanshee, the Scottish sisters of the notorious Irish Banshees. That's why she acts so dramatically different...succubi and vampires are confident creatures, but Banshees are mournful spirits.

What does it say about me that I find her more…eldritch qualities distressing rather than disturbing. I am afraid FOR her being hurt by the power she wields rather than OF her, even though I should probably be scared shitless of her. The same is true of “Gawain.” I heard Mash has SOMEHOW acquired her old strength, and been given the title “Fairy Knight Galahad”. If…if they intend for us to FIGHT her…I fear I would sooner bow my head and let her kill me. I CANNOT stand the idea of raising a hand against Mash. She is my dear Kouhai, and I would never wish to hurt her.
Baobhan sith is a scottish vampire who is associated with a succubus and fairy. Each ascension is a manifestation of her different characteristics and her lines change as well. 1. vampire/fairy 2. Succubus 3. All of them I think ascension 3 is the most appealing in my opinion. It's a creative mixture of a cute fairy and grotesque Monster, which is a great portrayal of her lore. Each ascension is one step closer to their true name, which is distorted due to morgan's influence. I think all 3 servants are amazing and i really love the gothic style of them.

I looked it up and I believe there's a more specific reason for her final appearance, and it isn't 'all of them' Ascension 3 I believe is basically her true Origin becoming manifest, neither vampire, nor succubi nor traditional fairy.... as Baobhan Sith never appeared to humans in the 3rd form when luring them. They shared traits with succubi and vampires, yet they were neither. Baobhan Sith is most definitely a fae, and they have traits of both succubi and vampires in terms of how they act, but they are, in fact, actually Scottish Banshees. That's why she appears so ghastly in her final form, its the form of her TRUE origin. The secret to their Origin is actually in the phonology of her name, for you see.. ....the true pronunciation of her name Baobhan Sith isn't Bow-Ban-Sith, its actually Baa'-Van-Shee. In other words, Baobhan Sith is actually a 'Bavanshee', the Scottish version of a Banshee.
