I met Brad Delp at our neighborhood diner and i approached him and said i have always admired his music. In a very soft voice he said to me..I never get tired of hearing that,.Thanks for being a fan.

I miss him and his beautiful voice most every day! I listen with a smile but there is a frown inside that does not let me forget about all the great music I was robbed of! Brad had lots more to offer and we will never get to hear what it was. I’ve followed his last days from his last interview with A train on Massachusetts morning radio and there was just zero indication that the horror of what was to come could be picked up on. I sure didn’t see it! This is just one I will never get over! When I watch videos it’s like seeing videos of a lost relative or friend! I ask out loud sometimes ……. WHY BRAD? Then I pray he is now at total piece and can see how much he was loved and respected! Without Brad Boston never gets off the ground!! Facts!!! Yes Tom was brilliant but brilliant is far from enough to sell multi platinum albums!! For that it took the voice of Brad delp! RIP BRAD! Thank you for staining my childhood with many many memories of all those great Boston songs! The summer nights were not the same without them! Class of 86 signing off! Thanks again

The first record I bought was Boston's first album. I'm a guitar player, so I don't always pay as much attention to the vocals. Brad has always been the exception for me. He had one of the most beautiful rock n roll voices I've ever heard.
His melodic, moody, heart felt vocal lines and harmonies are timeless.
Ironically, I'm not a big Scholz fan.

MyworstEnemy I was 16, just got my license that summer and my old man wouldn't let me buy a car. The law in AZ gave him control of that. So I'm riding home from school in a bus full of 8th graders on up to Jr's, and I was bumming big time. One guy in the middle of the bus, not too far from my seat had a boom box. All of a sudden I Heard these incredible 12 tones, and before the first bar was over this shy kid who never said shit to anybody yelled everyone shut the f up and turn up that boombox. They did. 30 some kids sat their with their jaws hitting the floor! Damn!
I got my album that weekend. I wore that one out on my BSR record grinder and bought another one. Then, after it started to fade I turned the album over to discover a whole other wealth of great music! Awesome stuff ! And Brad was the perfect vocalist for the job. May he Rest In Peace!

I saw them on their second time in Athol Massachusetts and on 2/2/2007 in Orange Massachusetts. A couple of guys that I worked with told me about the first Athol show and told me before the second show. When I heard about the show in Orange I asked some friends to go with us. It was a snowy February snow storm and while driving home our friends said that if I found out about another show to call them. One month later he left this world!

Interesting. On top of being a huge BeatleJuice fan, I am also the author of a book dealing with spirits and spirituality. At roughly 5 minute and five seconds into this video, I distinctly see an "orb." When the the interviewee (sorry,I don't know his name) says,...'We dearly miss our buddy..." you see a self-emanating flash of light in the background. There are no windows, and no light appears on the subject, so you can rule out the flash of a camera. I think this is very cool. Brad was there at that interview. His spirit, and that of his music lives on...literally!

His last interview was on March 7th, 2007.He sounded happy, hopeful & in great spirit's. He was even talking about the tour's that they were about to go on with his newest band, Beetlejuice & Boston and in just two damn day's, that was over, because he was found dead!!! What a horrible situation, with all of these grown ass men, not trying to compromise with each other as friend's and band mates. How very sad this whole infighting among them. It probably had something to do with the damn fact that their were to many Chief's and not enough Indians. Each one of them, failing to compromise as a team, and as band mate's. What a tragic, and heartbreaking loss of this man, who gave us so many awesome song's, with his AMAZINGLY beautiful voice. He was a LEAD SINGER for Boston. So, that's what I feel is the worse thing that can happen, losing your best friend's, and being in a Group that was PHENOMENAL!!!♊❤💋🤟🎶🎼🎤🎵🙏🛐✝️

In my 60 years of travels I have found the most talented and those bordering on genius have deep troubles communicating on a basic level and compensate to very little avail. Brad most likely felt he had too much to live up to and couldn't stand the fact that most talent like his fade off into obscurity due to the generals public's short attention span. Brad will go into the history books as one of the greatest voices in rock and roll.

I remember that day like it was yesterday. Was on my way to a gig at Johnny D's in Sommerville. As I was about 20 minutes away from the club I had on WZLX Getting it would good rock and roll mood the show When I heard the news About Brad. I remember that I was going through the South station tunnel When I heard it. I was friendly with Joe holiday From my days of hanging out with The Fools. And I remember calling Joe's house to see if that was true. Is wife Donna Answered the phone and told me that Joe was at the club with the rest of the band, minus Brad. When I got to the club places like a morgue. I Never Seen anything like that my entire life. I found Joe when I got to the club and asked what happened. They told me that Brad Committed suicide in his bathroom. The band wanted to go on in Tribute to Brad. And every time I hear a song by The Beatles it reminds me of him. Hes sung it so well that you swear to God it was The Beatles playing. Rest in peace my man I hope whatever demons haunted you are gone forever. You made so many people happy with your music You deserve to be a peace. Will always remember you But that Night the music truly died.

I read that and remember thinking he made a stupid mistake,
      Hardly worth dying over
      Everyone makes mistakes,
      Big ones , little one's
We are all Human, born to make mistakes,
His last mistake is an was a true mistake,
      It's done,
      And it's Final,
I doubt many will remember him for that mistake as opposed to who and what he Truly was.
The good and the great about him out weigh the mistake 10 Fold.

I think the underlying problem was the depression and when the video incident happened adding the embarrassment and shame to the mix was more than he could bare and he probably decided just to end it all and he could end the pain of depression as well as his new problems all in one sweep. I dont think he wanted to really die though and he may still be with us if not for the video thing. I'm pretty sure had he not killed himself the lady who was victimized was gonna make a big thing out of it and he didnt want to be around for that.

Fl Moseley, I read that the victim of the video was his fiance's sister and part of his depression was his fiance cheated on him and in his mind maybe the video was getting even but also the victim only wanted him to be the one to tell his fiance and he put it off but was going to have to tell her, I don't think they were going to go public with it and they didn't until the lawsuit from Shultz, depression and despair

@@koolkitties8552 There's a lot more to this story that we'll never know about. The court papers from the Boston Herald defamation trial have facts that don't add up. The closest evidence might be his last interview with the NH radio station, 2 days before the tragedy, where he mentions a rescheduled Beatlejuice concert from Sept. '06 due to a motorcycle accident with his fiancee's bike. (Audio is on YT) Since Brad was a lifelong vegetarian, and according to the court case, had tried psych. meds that didn't work in the early '90s, it's very likely he didn't know what he was doing after the concussion.
