      pretty impressive that he even listened to them, but i assume that is the short-haired guy? he's trained a little for sure. the other guy kind of looked pretty damn raw. it was actually a good fight. that black guy needs to either "karate do or karate don't" though because that one foot in shit is going to land his ass at the dentist's office. ...just like a grape? nah, just the dentist.

    Excellent match up! I think both gained some experience and much needed knowledge from this. I think the fight would have been much closer in a 4th or 5th round. Great coaching and listening to directions. We need a second go at this! Imagine if these two were sparring partners….

    • @ysph
      @ysph 2 года назад

      i personally would've called it a draw, but everyone hates that. it was very difficult to call. five rounds would have almost certainly raised the short-haired dude's hand. xplosive? he definitely seemed to be in control of where the fight took place almost the entire time. i give the other guy a lot of credit, because he didn't even know how to breathe and probably didn't train a lick of cardio before jumping in there. he looked totally untrained which usually means they only chance they have against even a total newbie is knockin' them out because the skill floor starts moving really fast in the early years in comparison to somebody off the street. his composure was also great, and he was breathing through his nose for most of the first two rounds. he also was able to hear his "coach" and well some people are good at that and some people aren't, but nobody is their first few times. i guess i would've given it to the trained guy just because they black guy seemed to be struggling by the end, but i think he actually was a more talented fighter. if their experience would have been equal, he would have been a real problem for explosive dude. he attacked openings really well when he was fresh and that's one of the main filters that can show you a person's potential. i think that's honestly what won him the whole fight in everyones' eyes, which is kind of bull shit imo, but hats off to him. i advise that guy to start training if he hasn't already. he might be able to make some money doing this. i'm gonna look for these fuckers' other fights. i didn't realize how interesting i would find these. lol

    Sometimes it's not all about strikes and KO's. Good on Showtime for not slamming the guy when he really could have. Too Explosive had some great coaching but more importantly he listened to survive the guillotine and start the Von Flue choke. Showtime was gassed in the third but TE didn't have enough in the tank to turn the round. Super fight from two really different grappling styles. I think they should run it back again.

    he did NOT win that fight. The other dude was quiet. You can tell these guys are trying hard to keep the MMA type "drama' and 'meany' attitude out of their small orginization. They just might be something someday... and have rules about being professional. Who knows? I happen to think the dude in the black trunks LANDED more punches, used better and more TACTICS on the ground and he also LISTENED to his corner. Much better fighter in the long run. He's gonna come back. All the best to these guys. MMA does not have to dominate the world, although they have literally BILLIONS to play with. Never know. Glad you REFS and owners keep the BS and the shit-talk out of the fights. It's refreshing. We who love the sport just want to see a good fight, we don't need the drama. It seems like you would do that if your fight wasn't going to be good enough, if there weren't enough draw or whatever. In other words, DONT TURN YOUR FIGHTERS INTO ACTORS. This is the problem with Dana and the MMA. Dana promotes the drama by being so dramatic himself. Spend your life hating and see how fruitful your senior years will be in this life. Be cool..... you'll last longer, even in a fight

    Scrapyard is by far better than the parent company streetbeefs. At least they provide turf to fight on. I still think all these guys needs to have some kind of padding or even cheap foam on the fences instead of just sheets of plywood. Potentially a death situation could occur when someone’s head is slammed into that plywood up against the cage. I do give props for scrapyard providing a surface to fight on at least that isn’t sort, mud, mulch, sand whatever else dangerous bullshit streetbeefs has used over the years. Scarface needs to open up the checkbook

    Hey StreetBeefs Scrapyard, why not have a gopro on a head mount on the ref, AND the camera inside the ring. This vid there were a few moments in round 3 where the camera man was changing location and he lost some or all of the fighters out of frame. If filming with a gopro anyways, maybe rock a gimbal and or a headcount cam, would help in editing to have multiple directions to view from for the best perspective and shots.

    These guys definitely just need more experience. See the teaching there but the on the feet planning is just not there. Explosive has to be weary of throwing body kicks at wrestlers . Can tell he’s not used to switching to head kicks when necessary. Also no confidence in his stand up. He very quickly wanted to get to the ground but couldn’t do anything once he was there . Showtime has to learn to not commit to every choke opportunity. His coach has to learn that too. Lots of wasted energy on the loosest chokes possible and that made him gas. But good work both guys getting through the rounds and working .

    They should have the loudest sideline coaches fight next. 😂 Especially that “choke him out” and “upper cut” guy.

    Great fighters I’m shocked there was no talk about wasted energy tho especially burning your arms out on a arm in choke and slams but everyone’s coaching is different

    Naw.. Dude might have "won".. But he lost right out the gate when he picked dude up and tried to do some cocky wwe walk around the ring type shit before trying to slam him.. Lost my respect with that.

    The idiot shouting in with comments like "Night, night" and several other remarks was hopefully not in either fighter's corner!

    If I was there spectating I would just start calling out Taco Bell menu items and occasionally say “night-night”.

    Spend some money and replace that plywood with Plexiglas. You just might attract more people to watch the fights.

    The two sides of coaching. One knows exactly what he's talking about, the other is just a clueless hypeman.
