OMG! I'm 6' 6" 320 lbs and I love to bring along gear for distance riding. I've been holding off on buying a Trike or a Quad because, well, who wants to spend that kind of money on something that can't carry the load. That you for sharing! I have options! Yay! That ICE HD though, ...ouch....
We just bought two. The Wife's is currently being Built. I Took Mine out for a Ten Mile Maiden Voyage today. Great little Scooter! I am not a Great Big Guy, 195 6'0". But it really felt good to ride. I have a little more "tuning" to do for Max Comfort, But I am very happy with it! The Wife's will also have the E Motor on Hers. Soon We will be "Scootin" around together! Give this one a Testride! "Buy once, Cry once" comes to mind.
I have the Expedition and the 700. I am around 200lbs. I am so happy that you all are selling this for bigger folks. Riding a Catrike is like a pedal powered amusement park ride. Keep up the great work UT!
I just got back from a visit to Utah Trikes. MAN! Do they ever have a huge inventory and selection. I have been thinking about a Trike because I need something more stable in case there’s ice on the roads here during winter. The MAX was on my list of six Trikes to look at. I'm a Clydesdale too just like Harold and of all the ones I looked at the MAX was the clear winner and the one I would choose after taking one for a short ride. I like the taller seat position which made it easy for me to get in and out of. The others were much lower and, in my case if my butt is below my knees, I'm going to have difficulty getting out of it. I was able to stand up easily with the assist bars. The electrification, Pinion transmission and internally geared hub add on options sold me. The more options you add, the higher the price will be. I’m thinking of the Bafang 1000 watt motor to speed my fat ass down the road much better than the excellent but underpowered for my weight, Bosch 250 watt motor. I’m going to go with the SRAM derailleur setup because the Rohloff would take it out of my price range. Fortunately it can still be added later down the road should I choose to. Now I just have to wait for my loan to be approved so I pull the trigger.
This looks like a great deal. I ended up with the ICE Adventure HD rear suspension, Fast Track, Ep 6100 Steps & Afline hub, because I hover sround 300lb s. With all the bells and whistles it was around $11k. It is geat there are now some other options for us larger people.
@@UtahTrikesOnline thanks for quick response, I have a catrike road with a nuvinchi in back triple crank up front, you guys put it together for me afew years back, at 65yrs old the stand up helpers like look good to me now

Heck yeah, seeing a big buy like myself riding this trike and loving it makes the purchase all the easier, thanks folks!
It's great to see Catrike opening up the option to allow a larger class of riders to experience the pure joy and fun of riding a trike.
I don't need a Max, but I'm glad to see the innovation and creativity happening.
Thank God I’m gonna put this in my Spring 2024 wishlist

It’s a great idea to make trikes available for bears and other people. I think the best feature is the grab bars for gracefully getting out of it.
yea its about time

YES! I have been waiting for this. Now to figure out how to afford it.
I like.
I would like it even more with 27.5” wheels and 2.5” tires. And a CYC X1 Pro Gen 3 motor.

I wonder what the weight capacity would be for a quad based on this
I like it, I like it, I like it. But whats the cost? And how much to add electric assist?
Starting base price of $3350 - www.utahtrikes.com/PROD-11622231.html
Middrive motor options start at $1735
Any specs on battery life? I was over 400 but I'm down to 305 last I checked. I'm still a big broad shouldered guy so this sounds like a wnner for me.
How can I get in touch with you directly? If you are in sales I want you to get the credit for selling me this. Thanks!
will the wheels fit my 559?
The hubs and axles are the same, so the front wheels would fit on the 559.
Does it fold
The seat can fold down, but it does not feature a folding frame.
