Cheech and Curtis awesome Day on the water guys!! Very nice footage guys!! Good Luck too all on the water and in the woods this fall 👍🇺🇸🗽🇺🇸 The Vermonter
I remember winning a fishing trip to there at a Doug Mill we s outdoor show in slc... it wasxa great trip fished the river too ... long live Doug Miller
Food for thought at 5:45 that fish spent a good 45 seconds out of water. I know I’m being a nance but the net didn’t have to float so long before the hold.
@@FlyFishFood How many took offense with Cheech arbitrarily and presumptively assigning the “he”pronoun to many of those fish ? This must stop, just saying. 😅
What types of center flies are you using on your parabolic rig. Wet flies, unweighted leeches???? I've got the the other two flies dialed but the middle neutral bouyant fly has me baffled
We used a few different rods but the Sage R8 10' 6 wt and Scott Centric 10' 6 wt and the Orvis Helios 3 10' 6 wt were the main ones we used. Reels were Orvis, Lamson and Ross
Over many years of research, we have tried to train the fish to spit the hooks by themselves at the opportune moment. It is with great disappointment that we report that it is literally impossible to do such. The fish are neither willing to listen to our instructions, but we are suspicious that they don’t even speak the English language. We shall continue to strive forth with our experiment. Godspeed.
I wasn’t aware that you touched our hands to feel if they were dry… but it seems like we need to learn the proper way to handle fish. Please post a video with tips.
You trying to buy me a new one. Bought to need to figure something out because the string is now going through all the holes and it won’t be much longer before the basket falls off

Absolute perfection on fabled water! Well done!
Awesome video 😁😄
Beautiful!!

My only question is whether or not you used an official NCAA stopwatch.
@@FlyFishFood it’s okay to be wrong once in a while. But don’t be so arrogant that you can’t even notice it.
Lol.
You should probably stop fishing with hooks too. Just take pictures.

Couple nice ones. All the monsters are on the bottom stuffed from the freshwater shrimp invasion.
take a sip every time they say callibaetis
Slab of a toad 😂😂 love the content guys
I like the way you think 🤔
🤓👍🏼
Third, nice catching guys. Looks like fun!
New sub ! Liked 🙏❤️😊👍✌️
Curtis to be exact that is a Toad from Slabsville. Nice fish
Y’all boys hanging it up in this cold or enjoying some ice fishing?
I understand your leader set up for the parabolic is 24" of 20 lb and then 18" 15 lb. What brand do you normally use?
Any brand Fluoro works. That’s not a very critical part of the leader.
@@FlyFishFood awesome! You guys rock!

Have you guys used this same technique with the parabolic line at Strawberry? I would imagine it would work there as well.
Yes, we definitely use this technique on a lot of lakes when the situation warrants it.
Which rod and reel- weight set up are you two using on this trip? Thank you in advance

@@FlyFishFood Thank you guys! Much appreciated!
That was a slab of a hybrid.... king toad on booby...
The sound of the rod bouncing on the tail of the boat. 😬
Why do you have to grab every fish?

@@FlyFishFood Called a foreceps to remove the hook, never have to even touch the fish, especially with dry hands like you guys did,

Where’s Henry’s lake
California
Trot line the rats and feed the homeless. There's far too many fish in Henry's right now.
Cheech, need me to buy you a new net? That one looks a little busted
