Wait 2 weeks...till it dies lol.
All things grow

Hey, that’s the tree from a Charlie Brown Christmas! I knew I recognized it.
Guys the tree is fine it will look like this again soon it’s just pruning not cutting everything and this is how bonsai trees started they will look like a old tree but tiny and this is the process
Not Nature/Not Natural..🤷🏼♀️Why Do It..There Is 0 Reason..And Thats Not Pruning
@@PafMedicyou mega dumb
@@PafMedic💀 Are you sure that's not pruning that's bonsai that's what all bonsai are kid
@@PafMedic"why do it?" Because it's an art form. It imitates what trees look like in nature on a small scale. It does not compensate the tree's health either. It literally gets better care than if it was growing outside.
@@PafMedic why do you feel the need to criticize something that isn't hurting anyone? It's art and makes people happy, find something more worthy of criticism 😂
Don’t picture what it looks like now but what it will look like in the future.
Exactly!
@@Bonsaiflydo you have any update?
@@j.h.9832 not yet. It’ll be featured again though
@@BonsaiflyI was curious and wanted to ask, as I’m very interested in getting into making my own bonsai tree; how is it going?
@@deanharstad5404 the tree is doing very well :) I am letting it grow for now, so it gains some size
That looks so good I always worried about if I’m taking of the right branch
I always wondered how to make a bonsai of out a cone shaped plant.
Now you know ✨
Lots of posts by people with absolutely ZERO understanding of what’s going on here.
True and sad. Hopefully some will look beyond the hateful comments and see that the practice of bonsai is supposed to harmonize with the tree ✨🌱
That’ll look mint soon 👌
THANK YOU SO MUCHHHHHH! I was looking to buy a bonsai and what do you know, I have four of these out back! Great video thanks
I literally have a small Alberta Spruce with triple trunks that I'm going to style on camera. The weather finally broke and I'm getting ready to set up now! Great video and perfect timing..it will be my first!
Nice! Give it a go!

The Temu Bonsai.....
So hurtful 🥲
How long do the wires normally need to stay on before the plant will support itself in the shape?
Depends on the type of tree and how vigorously it grows the next season. At least a year though
I look forward to this beautiful future
lol that looks like a missed up Christmas tree
The audio is so calming 🌳

A friend of mine had a bonsai business... It was very successful.
So successful in fact that he had to move to a smaller premises❗
Thanks for the … encouragement? 😄
I'm kinda scared cutting plants. I feel like they might not recover.
There is absolutely no need to worry. As long as you leave some green on the plant you'll be fine. And in some cases only a bulb is needed. Plan6are built to adapt to a loss of a few stems and can even grow out fuller. Just look up how to do it correctly
My dog once chewed my acer to the bare bone, I was thinking of throwing it away but just was curious, and next season it had leaves everywhere.
The little buggers are much more resilient that people are willing to give credit, and why you can have such beautiful bonsai if you’re willing to give it enough time. ^^
is this a how to torture a bush video?
Basically 🫣
Dont act like you dont cut your grass every week
This is a "Tell me you know absolutely nothing about horticulture" comment!" 😅
thats so true i have no idea about cutting bushes. 😄
The tree: 🐩
It looked healthier n the beginning
Whats your point?
That's part of the art. With bonsai, you intentionally prune and feed the tree such that it has enough nutrients to be healthy and survive, but not enough to grow big.
They always look worse before they look better with time it will grow into a stunning tree
It's always darkest before the dawn
@@GabetheGuruit’s not that it doesn’t have enough nutrients to get big they just prune it and keep it in the wires
Telling the barber you want it trim 👴🏾
Thats a sad Bonsai.
I tried bonsai from garden stores before and couldn’t keep them alive. What’s your secret? I was always terrified to remove too much in one clipping but when I did a hard pruning I killed it. Do you prune and let it recover then repot the next year? Or do you repot then trim the next year? How much can a spruce take in one go? Thank you!
Not sure this one will make it tbh
It’s not really a secret but I only perform one big action per year. I prefer to repot first and then wait a year and then style, but sometimes I do it the other way around.
And yes, this one is still alive
@@Bonsaifly I’m certain it’s still alive. I had no doubts. I killed mine because I went too hard and was impatient. Thank you for the reply!
Sehr schön 👌🏼
Danke dir! :)
I liked it bushy!!! 😂

wtf is that
Its a bonsai it says it in the title numb nuts
This is an absolutely beautiful result and I can't wait to see how the tree progresses! Super inspiring!!
Absolutely staggered at the display of ignorance in the comments 💀
I am glad you like it :) I think I’ll show it again in spring or so.
Fr, the people in the comments act like they never cut or picked a plant (cough cough grass and flowers)
Instead of a bonsai you have created a beautiful Christmas tree...my God! 🤦♂️😂😂😂

Yep.
How many times do you get pricked doing that ? Looks great 🌲

Why do you take the bark off of one branch?
What time of year are you pruning this tree? During winter dormancy? Or early spring when showing signs of new growth?
In spring
Why is there a big advertisement that drops down In the middle of the video?
Because it’s a video that has been sponsored by a grow light company called Marshydro. It’s how I am able to keep these videos going
Can you propagate the cuttings into other plants? Great tutorial- thank you!
At least the ones that aren’t too thick yet for sure
why are they peeling the bark off on some of the branches?
Simplified instructions: Prune like crazy. Bend wire around branches; bend to shape, and repeat. Right?
Basically 😂✌🏻
رائع جدا .شكرا لك ❤
تحياتي لك
Why did you strip the bark off of that branch?
To give the appearance of age. Maybe lightning hit the tree in a storm many years ago…..
To hang the washing on 😄🌳
What is the reason for keeping the lower branches? And why should we peel them?
Creating deadwood features from branches that aren’t going to be kept adds age to the tree
Such a large percentage was removed. I hope it recovered well
It did
Well done. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks 🙏🏼
Great Job, thanks for share.
Is a Juniperus stricta?
You’re welcome!
No, this is a Picea Conica, commonly they are called dwarf Alberta spruce I think
@@Bonsaifly thanks for clearing It up
What is the name of this plant? Thanks
Picea Glauca
I learned absolutely nothing from this video
Go to his main page and watch a full video then. This is hardly comprehensive. There's allot of good stuff out there
Can it be moved to a different smaller pot? You know, a classic large but short pot
Yes of course!
Nice👍
Very nice😊😊😊❤❤❤❤
What does stripping the bark off of those branches do?
It creates deadwood for aesthetic reasons.
How long until you take off the wiring?
I let it on until I see that it’s biting in. With broadleaf trees you have to be more cautious
nice
Let nature take it's course
Mars hydro are good lamps I have many
Next time you buy one you can use the code BONSAIFLY, just fyi

Care to show us how the tree turned out after many months?
I will definitely show it again. Probably when it is repotted next spring. This year I let the tree recover its strength
A una conífera no puedes quitarle tanto verde en un mismo año
Inspiring! Is this a cryptomeria?
Thanks! No, it’s an Alberta Spruce
What type of tree is it?
Alberta spruce
The shape and style was lack of passion. Experience makes it better
What kind of pine is this?
this is not a pine , its a spruce . dwarf alberta spruce to be exact
Just bought a lil ficus, (like 4inches tall 😂) any advice on getting it started into a bonsai? 🥰

What are the branches for that you strip bare?
Deadwood features
They are called JIn

Better before
Ok
nobody asked
Plant Gore
That’s creative
The problem is that the tree was perfect at the begining, it has no need to be punished and abused by cutting 90% of the foliage, that is in no shape or form healthy for the tree, i understand that some grow bonsai from scratch and they get some nice plants, but this feel like torture, like some of those movies; Tusk, human centipede, body horror:((
What is the name of this tree ?
Gunther (sorry I couldn’t resist 😂)
What are "day bonsais"?
Só se você esquece a parte da manutenção na verdade. Ainda uso paciência com meus bonsai
It translates to „Bonsai made in one day“, in English terms it’s called instant bonsai. Basically you make a Bonsai in one day by styling. So basically it’s just styling a tree. In terms of conifers it’s common practice
What wires are these??
Aluminum
What tree is that
Alberta spruce
I dont know whu but a bush has to go to a painful process tobbe beautiful and in yhe ancient girls have to like make their foot smaller to be beautiful whattt
what tree is this?
Dwarf Alberta spruce. Don't do this to them. You'll most likely kill it. They're very tender plants. If you want one, just plant it in a garden or yard.
@@leaf2180 thanks sir for information, thought all spruce family really good for bonsai
They are somewhat delicate but it’s definitely possible to Bonsai them
Excelente que especie es.
It’s a Picea conica
What’s the point of stripping the bark?
Its a stylistic effect. It spices it up with some dead bark that is still growing, signifying bark damage. There is really no reason to prune a bonsai besides growth and looks, but thats what it is all about.
Three name ❤.
Waiting for the update
It’ll come
what is its type or name
Picea glauca
Mmm ..still looks like a baby Christmas tree but naked. Should’ve waited and posted the 2yr shot.
