    I learnt so much from this video - often see all these products and don't know what to do with them! Even using them on Acrylic plastic sheets or ACM - aluminium composite material gives great results. Most of all adding some into other art pieces gives so much dimension and character. Thank you Sally - Tara Axford told us about your classes and you really have inspired so many people. ( I purchased most of the stencils as well as Golden Products and thoroughly enjoying myself.....) And love your daughter Milly's music (collagraphy workshops) which I purchased for my brother's birthday !

    Thanks so much for the tips about crackle paste. Now I know why my early attempts with this medium did not work as well as I expected.

    Amazing! What is the benefit of using Gold Open paints? Thanks.

      They are simply the best quality paints you can buy, highly pigmented. They initially seem expensive but contain so much pigment you can thin them with water or gel mediums to 'stretch' them without losing colour. Golden is also an employee owned company which feels good to know ♥

    Can I use these with oil paint and if I can what adhesive would I use ?

    • @sallyhirstartisttutor6324
      @sallyhirstartisttutor6324  4 года назад +1

      You can acrylic pastes and gels UNDER oil paint, apply them as I have and then put gesso over to create a surface the oil paint will adhere to..🙂

    I guess this is not a stencil tutorial. I prefer to create my own stencils. It’s a very clever AD though.

      It's a tutorial on how to use textures with stencils, not something most people think to do.

    From an English teacher to an Art teacher - phthalo is pronounced thay-lo. Rhymes with halo.
