Hey Dirk! You're certainly knocking out the builds thick and fast mate! This is an interesting one as I don't know anything about this model, looks very cool mate, especially with all the different colour plastics. 👍 👍 👍 👍
Thanks. It's more common in Japan, but you get a lot of custom parts here, too. And this was one of my key points for doing it. You can spend a lot of omey on value parts and change plastic into metal. But this time I thought why not spending less money on parts trees and do something for the design. You won't break any speed records with the trike😉
Thank you Paul. It's true, they're not known so well here. But when I saw the upgrade parts my dealer has and did some research, I found out that in Japan they're right common. Also the Comical cars and tractors. Little machines with big running fun.
@@RCBirds I'm resisting looking up run videos till I see your rippin.. The case looks like a mini grasshopper its so cool.. I like seeing new things, thank you Dirk..
I like that you got all the different plastics for it and are making it unique! Very nice looking and that is a tiny little gearbox assembly! I knew it was going to be but I have never seen one in person so seeing how small everything is is neat!
So true Addam. And as you know I'm deep into the micro crawlers and these seem to be much easier. Maybe it's because of the plasic maybe I'm too much in Tamiya standard handcraft and had to rethink my work. But in the end it worked an looks nice. Thanks for watching my friend.
Dirk the Dancing Rider gearbox looks good glad you mentioned that pay close attention to the directions, (flat spot) I would have overlooked that part. Bearings work better than bushings in most RC. Thanks for the video. Take care and waiting for the next part.
Thanks for your time my friend. As long I'm working with 4 AAs, everything has to be double checked. Maybe if I switch over to 2 S LiPo I'll have enough energy in spare. Yeah bearings are the second thing in my basket right after the Tamiya car.😉
Hi Dirk! Great idea to use the different colour parts, I would not have thought of that! It will make the little truck very special! Wow I think my fingers are too big to build that tiny gearbox! 🤣🤣 But seriously, it looks like a nice build so far. Those plastic bushings are nasty though!!! Have a great weekend, Dirk! 😎😎👍👍
And there are no axles through the planetary gears😁. For me it was really a suprising build, you cannot access it like a normal Tamiya and even the smaller 24 crawlers are more easier to work with. Sometimes I was close to call my wife for a third hand😊. But all in all it's an easy build when you dived into it.
red and chrome engine looks super ! I would love to build one , I think I prefer Dancing rider , more realistic .Reminds me of Mono Racer 130 enclosed motorbike !
