About instalove: THANK YOU! As someone who dated a man for a month, then he proposed, we were married in less than six months... It may have fallen apart over time, but all the sparks were there after one date. I think the vitriol towards the idea as a whole is unnecessary.
I'm having a hard time getting into dragons too. It's something I feel like I should like because . . . well they're dragons. But I haven't been interested in any of the dragon books that have been coming out.

Yeah, it's kind of wild especially since... it's fiction! Can't something be unrealistic in fiction? Let it be escapism! It's okay, I promise!

It's so easy to leave that kind of description out, too! Just say she's tenacious or something. Tenacity is so much easier to demonstrate on the page!

I do think they're starting to become a tad bit oversaturated. They're are so many unique takes on them, but none feel very exciting.
